Todd, Todd, Todd - such a lier!

This is NOT US Bank!  It is a scam!  No bank will call you to re-fi your home!  Do not talk to these people!

I have and have had the entire 877 area code blocked.

Buy a call blocking phone or device - they work and they are inexpensive!

We are (very happy) US Bank customers. Sometimes their calls have helped us out, like when they offered to refinance our mortgage and save us $140 a month. Sorry to hear you're all having negative interactions with them; they've been nothing less than fantastic with us.

We get calls from them maybe once or twice a year (including just now). It's my standard practice to never say "hello" more than once when answering a call that I don't recognize the number; my Caller ID listed this phone number and not US Bank or else I would have spoken with them.

The number is from US BANK.  I called the number back and asked why they call me everyday and when I answer, they always hang up.  I have caller ID, so I finally decided to call back the number.  The gal who answered said she was from US Bank and didn't know why I was being hung up on. I requested that she remove my phone number from her "Do Not Call List,' but when she said she needed my information, I told her that would not happen as I truly had no idea who she was and would never give my information to a stranger.  She said I'd have to go into a US BANK and tell them to place my phone # on a Do Not Call List.  With Identity Theft so rampant, I won't tell anyone any personal info. over the phone.

They're BAAACK... Back on May 13 2013, I posted here about the joys of a US Bank account that gives them the right to relentlessly badger you day after day after day peddling their stupid credit cards or whatever the heck they think I need from them. Even tho the number they have is my "garbage line", no phone attached for exactly this reason, I'm still going to re-block these a**holes. And I'm probably going to close my US Bank account since I don't need it any longer, not that this will stop these effing jerks from calling me over and over and over.

So, if you want to be hounded again and again by evening telemarketer calls open a US Bank account now! You'll be sad you did.

My husband answered a call from this number. The caller said his name was Greg. He said he was with US Bank and proceeded to try to get information from my husband and said something about a 2nd mortgage.  My husband told him 3 times that we did not need anything, but the man kept talking to him trying to talk about our financial needs.  I picked up the other line and asked who he was.  He said he was with US Bank and he was talking to my husband about his accounts.  I asked what accounts he was talking about and he said he would love to tell me but he could not talk to me about my husband's accounts. He was rude to me.  My husband told him again we did not need anything and hung up.  We do have one cr cd with US Bank but we own nothing on it.  It is in both our names.  We will not answer any calls from this number in the future.  Will have US Bank (if that is where he is really from?) remove us from their call list, and will block calls from this number.

Opened checking account at US Bank. Ever since, someone at this number calls frequently asking me to apply for a loan or credit card. I told them I am not interested and asked to be removed from the list. They ignored my request.

The local US Bank, and the people who work there, are great. The people from out of state are creating a bad name for the bank.

BTW - they called yesterday at 6:20 pm, August 5.

My Panasonic phone does not ring when a blocked call comes in...I only saw that they had called this morning while checking thru my caller ID list.

This is so weird.  I have an acct with US Bank.  They insisted that I open a CC acct with them - I did (a year or so ago) but have never used it.
They have never called me before yet their number was already blocked by my phone.

My new Panasonic phone (blocks 250 numbers) was already programmed to reject/block this number.

I guess we will never know...

Said his name was Steven from US Bank...H enumerated what all we had through US Bank...He sounds like he was doing what I did for a car dealership a while back...checking to make sure we were satisfied.   He said we closed a credit card and asked if we were dissatisfied. II asked him what the last 4 digits of the credit card were and he asked me for my mother's maiden name. He said he had to verify in order to make sure he was giving the information to the right person.  I gave it without thinking and he gave me the 4 digits. He was right. It was an account we closed. Told me about a reserve line that was closed that we didn't close. I said we didn't close it and he offered to open it back up. My husband will check it out at the bank tomorrow. I don't like doing business over the phone and I will ask US Bank why they do this when scams are so prevalent now....and let US Bank know they need to stop these types of phone calls. I won't answer any more like this and wish I hadn't answered this one.

Call from US Bank wanting to "thank me for being a customer". Yeah right. Get lost, I don't want a new credit card or whatever you're peddling.

If you want to be bombarded by relentless telemarketer calls open an account at US Bank. I opened one last year because they happened to be in the town I had to temporarily reside in. What a mistake. Even tho I wasn't home to get these calls I'd see them logged on my phone service and there would be 2,3 or more a day 5 or 6 days a week, week after week. They never give up even after I transferred that number to the local time and temperature they kept on calling. Eventually they got the hint but they never actually stop they just quit for a while. They resumed yesterday so here we go again... thank goodness for my garbage phone line (no phone actually attached works better than that incredibly useless "Do Not Call List").

I called US Bank and went through the interminable process that it now takes to speak to an actual person. US Bank does "sales calls"; I opted out. The 'personal banker' who was "assisting" me sounded grumpy after my repeated insistence that we no longer want sales calls regarding their offers.

Contact name:  Tom Harvey
Phone Number(s):  1-877-587-2274
Alt Phone Number given by "Tom Harvey": 1-800-771-Bank
Other information: an odd number 4667138 is associated with this "Tom Harvey"

Did what:  Offered me a Rewards credit card service and proceeded to try to extract personal information like date-of-birth and mother's maiden name (stuff you should never give out when answering a phone call).  "He" claimed to be U.S. Bank.  This person also seemed to know what accounts I had with U.S. Bank.  He also was trying to save me money but never advised me to open a normal checking account so I could transfer funds there from a gold checking that charges a monthly maintenance fee no matter what (suspicious? I think so!).

I opened an account with US Bank so I'd have some cash near by while out in the middle of nowhere. Ever since they have relentlessly called. I got so fed up with the 2 or 3 per day calls that I forwarded the number to the local time and temperature. Even after 3 month of that they STILL call.

If you have a choice, I would recommend NOT doing business with US Bank. Or if you must, as I did, give them a phone number you don't care about and need not answer. Otherwise you'll be pestered until you're at your wit's end. All because that worthless DNC list allows people you do business with to pester you forever and ever and ever and ever...

Note to US Bank... as soon as I can, I'm closing my account and never ever doing business with you.

I think this is a U S Bank telemarketer. I found the number on the internet associated with U S Bank.
I don't answer 8xx calls I figure if it's important they will leave a message.  None so far.
