Its very bad in states that do not have VOTER ID laws - some organizations do it as a matter of policy!

Another ploy by these same fraudsters is to call registered voters to aak if you plan to vote in the an upcoming election.

If you say NO - they mark your name on the list and someone shows up and votes in your name for you.

Yeah - they called - Caller ID gave the number and "800 Service."  Whenever I see 800 Service, I just pick and hang up.  Eventually they get tired of paying for the calls.

Have gotten many (sometimes daily) calls from this number, have learned to just not answer.  They want political donations.  Made the mistake once of donating so now they've got me forever no matter what I say.   And there's no part of NO that they understand.  You have to be rude and hang up on them.  I know that political calls are exempted from the Do Not Call list.  These calls are irritating at best and I'm about to buy a new phone with caller BLOCK to save my sanity.  My current phone system doesn't have it.  Any recommendations would be helpful.

Good idea!  It's almost worth the cost of a new phone w/caller block to stop it!

Call Block is a wonderful thing b/c they only can call once.

If you call them back, hit "1" to get more information about the organization, it will then allow you to hit "3" to stop the calls.  Unfortunately it did not recognize input from my home phone but I called with my cell phone and was able to key in my home phone number to stop the calls.  (I hope the calls stop.)   Good luck!

When I answered originally (when they called me) it was a computer.  The computers keep calling and it doesn't bother the computer.  I wish there was a way I could squirt something through the phone lines to destroy these computer telemarketing machines.  Of well.

Repeated calls from this number.  I don't answer 1-800 calls but it is annoying to constantly get them.

Stop calling me on a daily basis.  I do not want whatever it is that you are trying to conviince me that I want to help you.  I do not want to help you.

If you call this number and, after the message at the prompt, press 2 there is another message followed by the opportunity to get removed from the call list by pressing 3 and, at the prompt, entering you phone number. I guess this can't do any harm because they already have your phone number.

We have received at least a half dozen calls from this number in the past two days!

It'll take more than a few dollar to impeach the fraud occupying our White House. It'll take an end to cowardly politicians, on both sides, to do something about it.

Hey, they're offerring the free energy analysis that someone recommended us for.  This is the third call from these telemarketers and they just don't get the message---not interested and do not call again.

I keep getting calls from this number.  It comes through as "unknown caller".  I will try to call back as Kim suggested and get my number removed.  They even call at 9pm-Pacific time--that is RUDE!

Got call today from this # but didn't answer because of "unknown".  Our phone Company has a "block this number" feature so I'll go that route & suggest seeing if available for you also.  Its found in your phone book front section or ask your phone server.

YES, they are.  However they are required to keep their own do not call list (by law) for a 3 year and 31 day period (31 days is compensation for the 31 day wait period).

They won't stop calling although told not to do so. Since that time when I answer the phone there's no one there.

I guess these guys don't understand when I tell them to stop calling. I even told them that the next time they call I am going to use my whistle in the phone and try to break something at their end.

I've repeatedly told these people to take me off calling lists.  I've also repeatedly told them that I will not give money over the phone, so they'll have to mail something.  They just keep calling.  We don't have long distance on our house phone so I can't call them back to opt out.  I try to answer and tell them, but it's difficult because they hang up before I get to the phone.
