Rec''d call today from this number. Not Wells Fargo; recorded message wanting to sell alarm system.

It's probably an automated message from Wells Fargo. I got one and do business with them. And another person stated on 800 Notes that it was Wells Fargo with an "event reminder" that you could posssibly find out what it was by calling the number back without giving personal info. That sounded like STRANGE ADVICE and reporting to me, as they typically would have said what they found out when calling back, i.e. WHAT event... why "possibly" get the info? What's irritating is the hangups when you answer it! Just gives me one more reason to end my business with them, as if I really needed another one. Call received June 21, 2012, Orlndo, FL.

It probably IS Wells Fargo, as I do business with them. But it's highly irritating when you answer the call only to be met with no answer and voicemail. I answered within 3 rings, so I know they had plenty of time. Saying hello to a dead phone (do they not WANT live subjects?) is annoying to customers and just one more reason to give me to end my business with them.
