I have call more then  two times can't get no one to pick up or to call me back . I smell something fishy

This is Progressive Finance - Usually a company that calls by automation for auto billing when you have amount due on auto payment for something you finance.  They provide no refusal credit for customers, high rates and 2 time / month paybacks.  

I highly recommend to record this if possible and file complaints about it..

Scum bags from World Recovery Services Jason Wagner.   Call my daughter who is 17 and wanted to date children. What scum bags low life jerks. Trying to collect a dept but instead like my daughters voice!  Kept calling all night to talk dirty. Call local police to report Jason Wagner for soliciting to a child.

this number calls and asks for my husband trying to collect a debt we dont have any debt in collections  a definate scam they have mutiple numbers dont know all of them

Just called me, wasble to get some info on them, World Recovery Service, LLC...This is a 3rd party collection agency, the accounts they handle are account that are about to fall off by itself from your credit, may have been already disputed/taken off your credit this company buys "delinquent accounts" from other company to try to collect on a debt.

Keep in mind that after 7-10 years of an item being on your credit it will automatically fall off, however if you make any arrangement, or any payment to the "delinquent account"  it will re-activate the account "status" and will re-start the 7-10 year process again.

We keep receiving calls from this number.  They never leave a message, and if you answer the phone, there is a disconnect.

Hello, If you like me are tired of getting calls-hang ups from these people, please do as i have and report them to the site below, it is the BBB, they(World Recovery Services)  are not members of BBB but BBB will send them(World Recovery Services) a complaint and maybe if they(World Recovery Services) get enough complaints they(World Recovery Services) will change their methods and not make so many unwanted calls,

You are just evil. You don't know what happen to these people or if some of these bills are even legit. This is a form to get advice and find answers, not for mental cases like yourself

This person has called unlimited and claims to have a case against the last four digits of my social. They do not offer other information, but they do seem to be trying to get my social number. I am very leary of these creeps who call at all hours of the day and night. They claim to be WRS

I've recieved a few calls from a company they say they are debt collector and give this number to call back on, but when I call back no one every answers and it just plays music

This company must hire the morons that have trouble with getting GEDs. Received calls the last couple of days and the person asked for me, then stated a delinquent account from a bank I never dealt with. I asked for the full name and they are looking for Sr and I'm Jr. I asked how they came across my number and was told that was the number they were given by Sr. Hmm, rather impossible since he's been dead for 22 years now.  I informed the person so and asked for an address so I could send a certifies copy of the death certificate. I was told go screw myself, pay my debts and then hung up on.

Well, fine, keep calling and racking up a good harassment claim for me. I was trying to help them out so they can go suck it and realize they'll never collect that debt.

Credit this credit that. Can't we go back to the older days when this crap didn't run our lives.

This number calls frequently.  I'm tired of it.  Whomever it is waits for a long time to say anything so I hang up.

You are being a A**.  I say this from 20 years of collection management. What if they have the wrong number? What if they are using a predictive dialer  incorrectly? What if its a disputed account. What if they were in the military and shipped out and some how it got lost in the shuffle and is just coming up now?  I could go on.  Everyone that receives a call from a debt collector is a thief. Collectors like you that help give the industry a bad name.Yes with that response you are or have been a collector.

U must.  Why not call them and find out what its all about.  You say no dbt, then thats the only way to stop the calls, is to clear the matter up.

This number with call and leave no message.  Then as soon as this call hangs up I get an immediate call from another number 888-671-4814 and for about 2 minutes these is music left on my machine.

Received a voicemail from "[mumble mumble] Recovery Services." I have a lot of debt, so may be legitimate, but no knowledge of who put them up to it.

Well I have only had this number for about a year now and I just got a call from them asking for some lady and I told them I didnt know them and told her that I only had this number for a year mind you its a cell phone , I said no this is so and so and said please remove me from this call list she didnt believe me , so she asked me if I knew the person by any chance and I said no I don't and asked again to be removed from there call list , and she says OK, and hangs up , I call back and told the new lady that I wished for my number to be removed and informed her this was a new cell phone number that I had for a year now and never got a call from them before and she stated the person they where looking for gave them my cell phone number - GARB I think , she also informed me that it would take 72 hours and my cell phone provider offers a block so I guess i'll have to block there number I informed her of that and she said I would have to do that to , so that goes to tell me they arnt going to take me off there call list!

If it keeps up I think this would be Harrasment since I did tell them I am not the person they are looking for and don't know the person in question! They did tell me they were a debt collector!

That's because the bank charged you off and turned you over to collections!  That's why they don't have record of it.  Try your credit report and or Chex Systems!

When you need a job, a job is a job. Better than being a dead beat like some of the  people we have to call. Laying back all day collecting UC.  

We are covered by Federal Law guidelines.  No company should be calling that late, and yes, file a complaint.  In response to the person who mutes and laughs, we are the ones laughing as you're the one with the bad debt. We laugh as we flag your account turning over to the legal department.

Perhaps next time, speak with the person, if its a mistake, great, if not, working together will help clean up ur credit which is very important these days when applying for work.  We are all not bad people.  There are some out there, but please don't let that reflect on the rest of us who are just trying to help YOU.

I guess that's what happens when you're not working, in debt, with no luck of getting hired due to ur credit report.
