I received an automated call looking for someone they named who doesn't live here and hasn't had this phone number, at least for the last 10 years I have had it.  I called the number back to report tthis and they were very friendly, looked up the person's name, and removed my phone number from their files.  You may not want to hear from them if you owe money, but they didn't seem at all shady to me.

Declared bankruptcy six months ago and these bottom feeders bought the old bill that I included with the rest of my bills. The old collections agency sold the bad debit to A1 and have now promptly send me a letter demanding payment, plus $138.88 in interest and fees. These guys don?t even accept a letter from the trustee.

Knew my name; automated voice.. 'important message.. not sales..'.. bull.
Is this a canadian number?
Wants me to return their call; not without them identifying themselves.
