I Don't want these people calling me anymore.  They scammed me with some kind of discount membership and charged my bank debit card $16.99/month.

I RECEIVED A $69.99 CHARGE FROM TLG ON MY LATEST VISA STATEMENT. WHEN I CALLED, I WAS  ASKED FOR MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND MY CHECKING ACCOUNT NUMBER,
I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR AND WAS GIVEN ANOTHER NUMBER TO CALL. THAT NUMBER WAS NOT AFFILIATED WITH TLG.
I WAS TOLD I SIGNED UP THROUGH MY CHARGE CARD WHO KNOW NOTHING ABOUT TLG.
I FINALLY WAS GIVEN A REFUND WHEN I THREATENED TO REPORT THEM TO THE FCC.

THIS IS A SCAM TO GET YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND CHECKING ACCOUNT NUMBER.  CAREFULLY REVIEW YOUR CHARGE CARD BILLS.

I KNOW ITS LONG BUT READ IT IT WILL SAVE YOU FROM THE SCAM THAT IS EVR (EVERYDAY PRIVILEGES GOLD)
They talk me into signing up for the service after placing an order with tiger direct.  They tell me I will recieve two $20.00 rebates for a total of $40 and get 1 month of the service for free in which i can call and cancel anytime within that month and only pay a total of $1 unless i choose to keep the service in which i will get billed monthly.  I am obviously skeptical because in North America anyone can open up a scamming business legally because money rules.  Anyway after asking numerous questions i feel satisfied that I can get my two rebates and cancel within a month to make it worth while.  The bonus is the second $20 rebate, in which I am told by two separate Everyday privileges gold salesman, that I can use with any purchase I please as long as its a purchase of $20 dollars or more.  I only need to keep the receipt and send it in with the rebate form that they provide.  In both salesman's words "You can go to any restaurant or store or purchase whatever you please online and as long as the total bill exceeds $20 dollars than you are able to use the rebate."  The reason this was good is because on the same day i made placed an order with tiger direct I also placed an order with newegg which did exceed $20.  When I recieved the 2 rebate forms from Everyday privileges gold i decided to send both in, 1 for the tigerdirect order and 1 for the newegg order.  As I was doing this i decided to call them so I do everything correct to save me the hassle of potentially having to correct any mistakes I make in the future.  I get them on the phone and ask them about the second rebate and they start to tell me I am unable to use it with anything other than a tiger direct order which is not what the sales people told me.  They tell me that the salespeople were wrong and that they can do nothing about it.  I cancelled my membership immediately because this company just seems like they prey on suckers.  I don't plan on placing any other orders with tiger direct so the second rebate is useless to me.  I let them know that I'm not pleased with the lies but I guess i still get the first rebate of $20 off which is still a bonus.  I check the envelope numerous times to make sure it is all correct and that it contains the rebate form and copy of receipt from tiger direct before I sealed it and sent it, in which I am 100% confident all was correct and there shouldn't be a problem.  About 2 weeks later i get a letter in the envelope from EPG saying that my rebate could not be processed and it is cancelled because although I sent them the receipt, I did not include a rebate form in the envelope.  They include a different number to call than the 1-877 number which was a 1-800 number and when you call it, it only confuses you because you think your calling a different company as the options don't make any sense for what the company does.  I stayed on the line and got a representative and began letting them know that I am not pleased with what has transpired before she can even get a word in.  After that she says let me talk to a supervisor and comes back on and tells me that her supervisor has authorized her to complete the rebate process and will send mine out within a week or two.  I called the bluff and they gave in which is obviously a tactic they use to screw people over.  They do this, and if you don't follow up, they get away with it.  DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM, THEY ARE NOT ETHICAL.  I'M SURE THEY HAVE TACTICS ON HOW TO SCAM PEOPLE IN A LEGAL WAY OF COURSE WHICH IS WHY THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES.  THESE KIND OF COMPANIES SHOULD NOT EVEN BE ABLE TO EXIST BUT GOOD OLD AMERICA.  Now im worried about what this company is capable of since they have my credit card number eventhough i cancelled the service .  I'm sure gonna be keeping a close eye on my future credit card statements.  I hope I saved some people the trouble of signing up for this scam.  It's not worth it eventhough I thought.

I Iust inquired at Tiger Direct about an order and was told that they were going to give me $40 and transferred me to another person who wanted me to agree to a $1.00 trial with a buying club. I have been scammed before so I questioned the marketer who finally gave me the phone number 1 877 630 1295 and w web address  (everyday privileges) After reading the fine print I am so glad that I did not think about giving my information. From my reading of the contract you have to order from them and they will pass the order to the vendor in order to qualify for any rebate that will be applied to the account that the $16.95 a month fee will come out of.
I trust Tiger direct but this buying club is without value to me You read on their site that you can buy gift cards at face value  ($25)and they will rebate you ($5.00 to your card and they limit the number of cards per month and year. My guess is it is very easy to bill you and very hard to get out of the contract..... They say just write us or call us but I think that processing the quit billing me is far less efficient than the sign up for the contract, Which is simply giving them your card number

My husband has been a member of Everday Priviledges Gold for about 10 years now.  We love it and I wish we could get another membership, but it's "by invitation only".  Through the service, we are able to buy discounted gift cards to many stores that we regularly use, like Home Depot, Sears, JC Penney, Target, Toys R Us, PetSmart, Olive Garden.  For us, the membership is definitely worth it because we save more on the gift cards than we spend on the membership fee.

I am so thankful I found this conversation on here I was also scammed. My wife and I found this these charges on our bank account and we called our bank to get the 1800 number.  I then called the number and he proceeded to tell me that we signed up back in June for this membership we never signed up for.  They had been taking out 19.99 every month since June.  I told him we never signed up for this and he then asked his boss to credit us back 2 payments, then we would have to fax in proff of withdrawl from our account with a request for the rest of our money.  Dont let them tell you they cant help you, make sure you get your money back!!  We saw a return of 100.00 they stole from us!!!!!

How this scam works is you'd accepted a freebie sometime in past ($10 coupon, gas or shopping card, etc.) and buried in the fine print is authorization to charge your card with negative-option subscriptions for weird services (negative-option means they keep charging every billing cycle until you cancel the subscription and sometimes the scammers make it very difficult to cancel). The law says this is legal, I say it's a scam because consumers cannot be expected to read the fine print when they're receiving a gift. Tell your bank this is fraud and demand they refund *all* the charges. Do not use the word "dispute" because your bank will tell you to work it out with the charging party and you know that's hopeless. Report to the Internet Crime Complaint Center http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx , the Federal Communications Commission http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm , the Federal Trade Commission https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ and your state AG. Best wishes to you.

Today I tried to call my credit card company customer service # on the back of the card and was connected with this outfit, how I don't know.  Is it possible for them to hack into credit card co service #'s and divert the calls.  Naturally, even though the guy had an Indian accent I thought I was talking to my credit card company and gave my card# name adress and phone.  the person started talking about the Walmart card and $50.00 gas card, all I had to do was pay a $2.00 fee.  they would pass me to the next verification person and I would have to repeat my credit card info.  Finally, I smell a scam and refuse any charges or rewards.  I got mad and asked who they were and the guy answers "Everyday Shoppers" with this phone number located in Arizona. I hung up, they called me back because stupid me gave my phone # too. Sounds like other reports you are getting.  I immediately recalled my real credit card outfit and cancelled my card and reported this fraud.  Went over the list of my charges and a 1.00 hold charge showed up from Florida. The rep said I would not be responsible.

This company preys on the elderly and inexperienced individuals.  Going to call grandma's card company to dispute the charges. Absolutely  Ridiculous!  All she was trying to do was refill a scrip for Medco and was hooked by the wal-mart gift card and a gas card.
