This company calls my house all the time asking for Andy C Shaw whom I do not know and he has never lived in my home for 44 years. My phone number I have had for 54 years. If there any way to stop the calls I would love that.

FAMS Recovery Solutions out of Saint Louis or Atlanta. They use recorded messages and autodialers depsite laws against this in some states. You do not get to talk to a person to get removed unless you agree that you are the person which then allows continued harassment. I am not the person... no knowledge of this person...They call constantly from a recorded message and say if you are not the person to hang up. I am not the person so I hang up. They call back because you are not allowed to talk to a person to tell them to remove you. If you do not hang up you are agreeing that you are that person. Also my answering machine takes their message and in doing so you now "allow" them to call because you did not hang up. An unmitigated shady operation. Report them to your attorney general. I have filed telecom harassment in my state against them. I have no knowledge of the person they claim but it does not matter to them because of this recorded message "loophole".

You will have to do that. All it takes is a cease communication letter VIA certified mail with return receipt requested demanding that they stop calling you. By law they must comply or you can sue them for $1,000 per violation.

This number calls my home phone every day asking for my ex-husband. He has never even lived at this house, but unfortunately, I've had this phone number since I was a kid and now his name is also associated with it. Is there a way to get these annoying phone calls to end!!!!! If you hang up, they just keep calling back, no one ever even comes on the line so you can tell them there is no one there by that name and these phone calls have been coming for weeks.....please make it stop!!!!!
