Received a call at my job, I'm a receptionist. Will Baldwin with a very heavy Indian accent asked to speak to me, I played along, pretending that I was going to give "her" a message because she was away from her desk. He said it had to do with some weird things going on in her bank account and that she needed to call immediately to discuss what's going on. I call total BS on this, as I have had my accouns hacked into and I no longer use a traditional bank.

got a vm saying an unauthorized charge on my acct and to call the number back. I called from a payphone to see what kind of SCAM this was and dialed the extension as directed and it says vm box is full. I know it 's a scam which is why i called it from a payphone. the caller had a very thigk indian accent and yeah using an american name, how convienent. What a bunch of crap. This is why I frequently change my phone number, to keep scammers from dialing me.

Friday 10/26/2012 4:19CST - Received a VM from a "Claudia Brown" (super thick Indian accent) basically saying exactly what MrsCW stated in this thread. That she was from Visa Mastercard, that there was an unauthorized transference of money out of one of my accounts, if I wanted it back I would need to call them.
Reeks of fraud.

I received a work voicemail from this number. The caller (Indian accent, named Shane) stated he was from the International Visa and MasterCard company and there was an unauthorized charge on my bank account or credit card. If I wanted my money back, please return the call to this number and he provided his extension. I am super suspicious because people in my family were victims of identity theft, so I did NOT call that number. I called my credit card company and my bank to let them know about the voicemail and to see if there were any international charges on my account.
My credit card company said this was the 10th time they had heard about this and would put up an alert on the website.
Be careful, everyone! Christmas is coming and all scammers need is one opening....
