This number is now being used to solicit donations to the supposed Impeach Obama campaign.  It asked you to pressed 1 to donate or 9 to remove yourself from their list.  Do neither.  If you press 9, they will ask for info.  Even if you press 9 and they promise to remove you, you have just confirmed that this is an active number.  Don't even give them that much, just hang up and report them.

714-686-8708 is doing the fake payday loans.

I keep getting calls from this number to verify information on a loan that I applied for before they can process my loan....Problem is, I haven't applied for any loans.

I filed a police report against the owners of these numbers and will soon file a report with the FBI. I suggest to do the same if you feel threatened, harrassed, etc. They say they are "officers" and go by american names like Greg Willson or Harry Morgan, etc. In some cases they have asked for pre-paid credit cards or cash payments. DO NOT pay these people, it,s a SCAM! In some cases they even have SS# or ID numbers and will try to intimidate.
Another thing we may try to do is try to get and address out of them en post it online for everyone to see. Lately they have been calling on behalf of UNLD INC. which is based in India. The 469 number is from a place in Terrel, TX (I think).
If we all work together to catch these crooks we could probably put them in jail for good.
By the way, this 877 number is a toll free and I could not figure out to which company it belongs.

Who are this people?  I received a call today, I called the number and all I got was an automated answering, asking for name address and e-mail address.  I looked up the number on line and linked to Freedom, uniguard  and some other companies.  I called Freedom to make sure that they don't start taking anything out of my checking account and they acted surprised.  They are scam.

I got a call from this number 2 days ago. Tonight, I decided to give them a call from my cell phone and I got a message telling me that I'm calling from a number not listed in their database and that I should call them back from the number that they called me on (my home phone) and then their system will be able to automatically locate my "account." But as LDBeyes said, I haven't applied for a loan with anyone. While it makes me curious as to what information of mine they have, I won't be calling them again because ultimately I'd only be verifying that whatever information they do have is valid.

This is a SCAM!!!!  they threaten people, some how they got our personal information......and use names like "davey Jones" "don johnson" or whatever else they use.  They said i would have to go to court I said great what court, because I have never had a loan....they said to be there in the am....needless to say, my daughters uncle is the county judge, and about laughed when I called him and told him about it.  He then called my daughters grandfather who is the sheriff of the county and informed me they have had several complaints already, along with the NYS police, and was told to just just hang up and inform them they police have been notified.  **DO NOT fall for whatever they say****  IT IS A HUGE SCAM!

I was online requiring information about getting a loan last month and left my information but I never accepted any loans. The next thing I know I get this heavy indian accent man telling me that I owe $2,000.00 of a loan I did years ago which is a lie. Besides October he continues to call but I don't pick up the phone. He called me on 11/11 @ 9:20am & 9:50am. 11/14 (Sunday) 11:50am. 11/16 @ 11:25am & 4:43pm. 11/24 @ 11:08am. I'am so worried because online for applying a loan I gave my personal information and now I gotta change my bank account. The red flags are so high up and scamming innocent people.

Do you have Verizon?  If so you can either call customer service 800-922-0204 or go to verizonwireless.com and log into your my verizon and there on the first page in the middle is a tab for blocking numbers.

i think that is what they are doing.  if you get a man that says he's with the "legal department of athiests" and you owe money...DON'T DUE IT...EVEN IF HE TREATENS TO SUE YOU.  He's trying to pull that with me to force me to pay him hoping i'd fall into mr jones/johnson's trap.  he will use random numbers and have loan companies call people and have the people pretend they have loans or checks for people when they are usually fraudulant.  DON'T DO IT!

that sounds about when they started to call me.  my boyfriend called the number back because i did call forwarding for unanswered calls.  he said "sue me then" and hung up.  the lady asked if he was a lawyer.  he's close to being one but the lady doesn't need to know that.  he knows his limits.

I do.  They just started calling within the last half week.  I'm pretty sure it's linked to another scam.  A heavy accent mr david jones/ david johnson says I took a loan from him online..when i never did and is threatening to sue me.  I had someone else take care of it.  The gentleman said "sue my client" to the so called loan company with this particular number.  The lady from the loan company...in my opinion mr jones/johnson is telling other people and/or companies to call me on his behalf.  mr jones/johnson calls from random domestic U.S. phone numbers.  One was from PA, California and/or a Montana number...montana if applicable.

Caller said urgent msg call back my loan was approved.  I never applied for a loan with them they www.needed bank info etc.

I have been getting calls from these types of people since I applied for  a Personal loan. If you talk with them make sure you don't ever say the word yes, they will record you saying yes and use it as authorization to access your accounts and take money. Each time they happen to catch me and have a conversation with me, if they ask questions that require a yes answer, I just say correct, that way it's obvious I'm confirming something and not giving permission for anything.

They call me and it only rings twice and hangs up. They never leave a message. I just keep my phone on silent most of the time so i don't have to be annoyed by them.

I also have received calls from this number. I simply listened to the recorded message and opted out by dialing the prompt #9 to be removed from the list and not be called anymore.

Don't know who this is or why they are calling. No messages.

happening to me.  Made a big mistake and applied for one of those online payday loans.  Within
an hour about 50 emails and then text messages to my cell and now a month later getting
