Got a call from this phone number.

I keep getting calls from this number. When I answer, nobody comes on the line and it eventually hangs up. When I call it back to tell them to stop calling me, all I get is a busy signal. It's very annoying and I have no idea how to get it to stop.

This people call and hang up on you, they call night and day to my house.  I just do not know how to file a complaint against them.

I also received calls on my cell phone from this number but did not know who it was from. Thanks for the info regarding what this company is doing.

I too received a call from 877-745-8530.  No message.  I called it back. Got 0 information and told them they had a wrong number.  Woman had a thick Indian accent.  I have been getting a ton of collection calls from same sort of deal requesting I pay for a cash advance which I never took.  That gentleman's name is Jack Logan but of course had a very heavy Indian accent as well.  That # is 510-991-1006.

I think they get your number off of applications you fill out...that's the only way they could have gotten the number....

I received a call today, they wanted $2.79 to activate me as a user on their website.  They wanted to give me access to federal grants for education.  Very pushy they were.  I told the woman I would want to see the information before paying anything.  This is too suspicious as they were needing money beforehand.  No one entity is just that motivated to giving access to money unless they are benefit at anothers' expense.

I had a call from the above number stating that they are Funding assistance company and would provide all the information about the website etc for me to get Govt.Grant whatever the amount i want for my studies and that i don't need to repay. They say that all i need to pay is $2 and some cents and were asking for my credit card details to enable them process the application and give me the website details along with the log in id and pass word. I suspected this and avoided giving them any information.

They're called Funding Assistance, they claim they're a program to help get goverment grants.  They kept calling my daughter's cell phone while she was at school, so i had her text me the number and then I called them and asked them to put her number on their do not call list, the first guy insisted that I give him her name and I told him no you don't have her name, why should I give that to you, you may just take the number to put on the list to not call and he said he had to have the name or he couln't help me, so I asked for a supervisor, and he said he could help me, so I told him if he couldn't just take the number that they have called I'd file a complaint against them.  I then called back and got a women and asked the same thing and she only asked for the number and said they wouldn't call, and that was it.
I hate when companies make solicitation calls to your cell phone, especially when it's your child.
