It's a telemarketing firm calling on behalf of Bell - call Bell at 1-888-378-2355 and asked to removed from ALL of their call lists.

this is who you need to call 888-751-6277 (someone will answer).....apparently it is a call to see how you are enjoying Bell's services....feel free to tell them how much you enjoyed their annoying calls...I did. I also had them remove my number...remember to get their employee number in case it happens again...because they seem just to do lip service...she was going to remove all my numbers after denying the calls so I ask her which numbers will she be removing...and she had not even written my numbers down....Please feel free to pass this on
bellcanadaaic calls from 2 phone numbers:
877-767-0751 888-751-6277 lease feel free to pass this on

They've called at least 6 times per day for the past two days and almost 40 times in the last week. Today alone, they called 4 times in 90 minutes!
| Chris Au 2011-06-06 21:04:48 Unknown |
Five to six calls over the past 48 hours... Called Bell Canada, their Indian call centre answered. Told me to get the Call Screening Service. I told the guy he has got to be kidding...
He eventually transferred me back to a customer service agent in Canada, and he said he will put me on a do not call list and will take 31 days to process.
Funny how the National Do Not Call list provided by the Government of Canada does not apply to telephone service provider's marketing departments...

September 30 2008 I REGISTERED my number on the national DO NO CALL LISTW. What was the sense when I am still getting a variety of harrasing calls? Who ya gona call ghostbusters?

This number called my house 7 times today when I was out, I just answered it on call #8. Alliance calling on behalf of Bell, agent asked to discuss my long distance plan. Information she presented was not accurate, she asked me some questions about my calling habits which I declined. She also asked me whether her service would rate "9/10" in terms of politeness, I replied that while she was polite, she sounded very green and that she should request more training. Asked to be removed from call list.

They've been calling me twice a day for a week. Do the following:
Call the CRTC at 877-249-2782. Tell them you want to complain about harassment. Since there is no recording, and no individual is on the other line, it's technically an irritating/annoying/harassing phonecall, NOT a telemarking call, so DO NOT let them forward you to the national Do-Not-Call list folks at 866 580 3625.
Call Bell's Executive Office at 866 317 3382 to tell them that you're receiving harassing phonecalls from a company that says they are making these calls on Bell's behalf. Explain that they shouldn't be dealing with a company that harasses and annoys their customers.
Finally, call 888 378 2355 and ask to be put on Bell's Do-Not-Call list, and ask to create a feedback ticket to demand that Bell stop using third parties to harass its customers.

Repeated calls..all times of the day...no one there
CALLS MUST BE STOPPED

These jerks have been calling me 4 times a day, every day for the last week at least. I've stored this number in my Rogers cell phone from the last time this happened a few months ago, when it was from Bell Canada. This harassment isn't covered under the Do-Not-Call legislation because I am their satellite TV customer. Why can't these people be sent to secret CIA torture prisons?
| Nicole 2010-01-19 13:16:52 Unknown |
I got a call from this number, and they didn't realize they were being recorded on my voicemail....
Well...it was a bunch of talking and then some weirdo music and then hung up.
No idea who it is, what they are, or anything. We're not even in Canada...so no clue how they got our number!

Received a call from 877-767-0751- no information left on answer service. I obviously picked up the receiver on the last ring. I paid to identify what the last call number was because such calls annoy me. On basis of information at this site I expect it was Bell related because I had a call last week from them but was busy and could not talk so expect they phoned again.Useful information, Thanks

I hate to say it but I worked for Alliance Icomm, which outsources for bell, and I quit. The business practices of both bell and AIC are shameful. This is why I couldn't work there any more. Bell does not provide consistently accurate information to their outsource companies and the information provided to reps through bell's own software is conflicting to say the least. The reason you get the 'silent treatment' is because AIC dials a large volume of numbers all at once, but can't connect a rep fast enough to respond to all the customers who actually pick up. Unfortunately Bell runs the national do not call list and does a poor job of it, as well as their own internal do not call list, which despite personally adding customers to it myself, still received calls after the fact. I want to sincerely apologize to bell customers who got screwed over because of me, anything I offered was word for word what was supposedly available. Bell just neglects to add 'bundle' discounts all the time and sometimes doesn't even bother to show up to appointments that I set. So once again, my apologies. The only way to get a good deal from bell is to discontinue their service and reapply with a different name. They only give good deals to new customers and I would seriously recommend recording any call you make involving bell, while making sure to have the rep give you their real name and ID number (for me it was an 'EX code'). Sorry for the inconvenience and best of luck to you all.

Since signing up for CALL BLOCK as an additional service against unwanted 'spam' phonecalls last week, I have had calls probably once a day from this number. After reading this internet infomation, I now know wht's up! When you answer, nobody is there so why is it even telemarketing...no message, no person, just completely annoying since my elderly mum is taking a name now after lunch and she was disturbed by this ringin at 1:30 pm. Incredible pathetic time-wasting stupidity by a large corporation!

Hey folks' this works.
The first time a telemarketer calls be polite and ask them to not call again. The second time warn them that you will blow a whistle in their ear if they call back, strongly insist they remove you from the list.
If they call back blow a Fox40 whistle into the receiver (or use an airhorn). Problem solved. Ignoring it or being polite after the first contact gets you more phone calls. My method works.
