I own a Chevy van and a Honda Accord, both are paid for.  I pay for a Chevy Pickup through Payroll deduction and I see it has been done daily when I check my account.  I PAY my bills.
They didn't say anything, just broken up noise like a bad connection.

please help me, i am 60 years old and want what i call probably my last new car,, i was a chryler person for so long, but they don't want nothing to do with  me, i have fallen on hard times my current concorde has 96,000 mile on it a nd i can't get a job because my car has too many problems. 1 am a license practicall nurse and can't drive to an interview. i would be your best advertisememt here in Batavia NY, I cant't afford taxes, but i can only afford 100.00 a month, my son laughs at me because he says the car company's do not care. i am truly a good person, i have always paid my way, i may end up losing everything if someone  does not show some compasion. This is what you need to do.

Dont be lazy.

1. Complain each call to DONOTCALL.GOV

2. Write a Certified US letter to Toyota , telling them to cease and desist calling and to only send via mail all communication.

3. Write to the Federal Trade Commission and file a complain.


Toyota, relies on you being lazy and thats why they keep calling.


Do the 3 things above. Especially #1.

Toyota Financial payment was due on 6/9, it's now 6/13 and they're calling already.  I mailed the payment Friday... it's a weekend for God's sake!  They called at 9AM this morning!

This is Toyota Financial's number. Called them back to find out what was going on.

I have never been late on a payment. This month I mailed a check on the 17th and it cleared MY bank on the 22nd. I have received two calls on my cell on the 30th and again on the 31st. They don't leave messages and I had to call the number back to find out who was calling. I told the guy about the check ckearing my bank and he said that "they were just not posting the checks on time" and he apologized for the call. If I was their credit manager, I'd be concerned about extra cost in people and telephone expense that my company was incurring unnecessarily. Go figure!  DGm

Toyota financial is not technically a debt collector, if you have a car payment financed through them, then you are obligated to pay them or they can repossess your car. Also while they do have your social security number, they ask for it to confirm that you are the person that they are talking to, they want to make sure that they are  talking to the person that has the lean & not some john doe that has your phone so it it not necessarly a scam, which is why 800notes & others like it are great, other people like the ones in here will tell you whose calling. Yes, I too get numerous annoying calls from them with no messages, even though I pay my bill ontime each month. But you can't just ignore them, if the money is owed, it has to be paid. & yes we do have rights, however, even if you take them to court for ftc, & win, you still have to pay for the car you brought. I see their number call & ignore it & pay my bill like always. The few times I have had trouble, they are more then willing to work with you.

I pay my bill ontime every month the same way too, on their website. Yet every month about a week 1/2 before my bill is due, they continue to call me everyday several times a day without leaving a voicemail. Robo calls like this are as far as I know illegal.

Toyota and Lexus Financial are basically the same, I am financed thru Toyota and pay online and you can see on their website and at least on my paper bill both Lexus & Toyota.

REPORT EACH TIME THEY CALL TO

Second write them a CEASE AND DESIST LETTER via CERTIFIED US MAIL telling them that all commuincation is to be in writing and writing only.

If they do not comply, sue them for $1,000 per call violation is small claims court.

10/9/09 - Calls at 9am, and again at 5:43pm.  The second time, I received a voicemail message claiming to represent Toyota Financial as well.  I have never supplied my number to any car dealership that could have passed it onto this supposed company.  Plus, they had the wrong name.  Could've been a mistake, but I am doubtful.  Whether this is legitimate or not, Toyota needs to clear their involvement (or lack of) in these sketchy calls.

they called this morning saying my payment is late, it is due on the 11th each month and I have till the 22nd to pay before a late fee is charged. I have been paying the loan back for almost 2 years and always mailed the check around the 14th of the month due to how I get paid....They have never called and bothered me til this month.....told them the check is in the mail....they called 4 times in one day since...

It's identity theft, dont bother.  If your ATM card is set up, they call, not send texts.

Yeah i know what you mean i made a payment and they didn't check there recorders and have calle dme 3 times today. It is kind of frustrating when you keep getting phone calls of harressment when you have taken care of the issue. they need to learn better communication within the company

Yes I have the same exact scenario. When I called to ask them so many calls they told me it's computer generated blah blah blah and unless I pay the 5.00 to make the payment through them, the computer will keep calling so I told them ok well note my account that my payment is scheduled and visible to you and that I won't be answering because 1. I am not late and 2. I scheduled the payment to post before the grace period expires. These people are relentless.
