They call all hours Day and Night they never speak they just hang up

I've been getting calls from this number every day for the past several days.  Nobody there when I answer.

I got 2 calls in 1 day (2 hours apart) and then another call from the number the next day??

* Daily calls come from this number to my cell. No answer when I pick up... Then "Click" they hang up. How did they get my cell#??? *** Today a man answered & after a moment of silence, began his required reading. I stopped him & asked about the repeat hang-ups... He made a short story long -without justifiable reasoning- then continued to tell me that the call may be recorded blah blah blah. I kindly informed him that I did not agree to being recorded ( as this is my right)  and asked what the call my be in regards to. He didn't give an answer. I interrupted him stating that I wasn't willing to sit though some scheme. *** THE JERK YELLED AT ME ! ! ! ***  I hope they recorded that! I hung up on him. Canceling charter? After husband hears this...I'm almost positive.  We had Dish Network for 10 years without ever a problem. Moved to the city (sadly) without it. Hope we can get it back.

Once I filed a complaint with the BBB all calls from this number completely stopped.  It worked.

They've been bugging me, too, and I'm also a Charter customer.

Annie - in case you read this, I did get them once by pointing out that I only pay $12/month for my land line and that rate isn't going to go up as fast as theirs will.

I get 2-3 calls from them a day and they are all similar to what is talked about here.  I just filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and would advise everyone else to do so.  If they get enough complaints they may stop it completely.

Actually talked to them a second time which is hard because they like to hang up before I can answer, as you may notice by my other notes they keep calling nonstop even though I told them no the last time I talked to them- I could barely understand the woman on the phone at all it was a bad connection real crackly, I told her "if this is about the phone thing we are not interested"  I was hoping she would ask me why like the last woman did, and I could have been like are you using Charter phone service to contact me? And if she said yes I would have been like "well the call quality of this connection gives me the impression your phone service is very poor!"

They call twice a day every single day. I finally labelled them as "Charter Spam". This coupled with all of the junk mail I get every week makes me want to just switch and not be a Charter customer at all.

I've been getting 2 calls a day from this number on my cell. One between 8-9a and another between 12-1p.

Again I get this call, one day I finally answered thinking it was going to be a survey on a service call and I was going to tell them I wasn't interested and if they asked why I would say the person who was here when the technician was here goes to college and is not available to comment (which is a total lie but I don't want to do a survey) I couldn't seem to get them off me by ignoring the phone call every day sometimes multiple times so I answered- its about home phone service bundling. If you say your not interested they will ask why and they have a response for "I can't carry my number over" and "poor reliably/no use in a power or cable outage" I haven't tried "I don't use my home phone much and was thinking of dropping service completely" or "I have enough bad experience with your equipment as it is" or "I have enough bad experiences with customer service when I have problems with something from charter now" or "its such a hassle to make sure someone can be home during the day."

Two calls from this number in three days on my cell phone. Answered, but the line was dead both times. Charter can't get anything right.

Four calls this week from this number -  I did not answer since I do not recognize the number.  No message was left either.  Reading the posts from other I would believe it to be Charter since I also am a Charter customer.

This is my second posting today; just received another call, third time today.  Asked the female operator not to call me any more, said she would put me on "The Do Not Call List" and might take up to 30 days to get my name off; told her I had been on the "Do Not Call List" for years and hung up.

i just got a call from them, they didnt say anything when i answered, idiots!

I get a call from this number daily; twice today. ANNOYING!!!

Have gotten several calls from this number. Never answer. Never leave a message. Possibly is Charter because I am a Charter customer. I always wonder: If I don't answer, and you don't leave a message, how can I ever say yes to what you want to sell me?

It's Charter. I answered but they hung up. I called the number back just to find out who was bugging me.

Charter...Answered the phone call but line was bad. Don't know why they would call...

Upon calling back it is in fact Charter, I should put them in my memory and give them no ring.

I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message, I wondered if it was maybe our cable company- Charter because they have been calling us the last week after they serviced some equipment and I usually get survey callbacks  and in the past they go by CHARTER and sometimes they use an unidentified 800 number, I have been ignoring the survey calls, I don't want to take a survey.

I saw that it was a 877 number and did not answer. They did not leave a message either.
