Got a text message on my cell phone from 512-827-6224 asking me to call 877-808-4375 regarding an office assistant position I had sent a resume in for. If you call the 877 number it is answered by an automated system calling itself the Employer Network and telling you to please hold for the next available representative.Total scam!

I received a text from a 4248329568 number regarding a material handler position that i never applied for and it said to give them a call to a 8775639299 but this is not the first time i get this txt the funny part is that the first time i got it the call back # was a different 1 this is really creepy soo ppl dnt call back those #s who knows who the heck they are

I got a text from 424-832-9568...saying to call 877-563-9299. This is the second time in two weeks and I'm applying for work in SoCal. What I don't get is what they do when we call? How can they scam us?

I also had a text sent to click on my bestbuygift card...being that I don't shop there I didn't click on it and searched on it instead.

i just got the same text...addressed me by my first name from 424-832-9548 ask me to call 1-877-808-4375

I just got the same message as everyone else!! Mine, however, was for a data entry position.  They addressed me by name, and asked me to call the 877-808-4375 number. However, it was sent from 312-919-8724. Neither of these numbers made any sense to me since I am from Kansas City and have an 816 area code.

I did apply for a marketing job and just got this text to callc877 808 4375... guess I was right in thinking that was a little odd.

Applyed for a cleaning job on Craigslist and got a text for days later from 407-902-6256 saying the same exact thing as every report above to call 877-808-4375.
I am going back on Craigslist to flag the ad, everyone else should do the same !

Am getting repeated text messages from 704-517-8864 telling me to call 877-808-4375 for an administrative position. I think they are getting the info from Craigslist???? I have sent them a text requesting they remove my name form their list.
It is not a legitimate job offer.

I received a text this. 704 number saying to call 877-808-4375 about an administration position I applied for but I didn't. I've never known an empolyer to text you to call them back, I figured it was unprofessional so when I looked up the number. I hadn't been the only one that this number had text to call. Really strange glad a site like is here to warn others.

Same here, the text I received said it was in response to a 'payments clerk' position I applied for and to call the 877 808 4375. Bells started ringing when I realized the text message came from a 424 area code which is SoCal...I live in NorCal

I received a call for this 877 number, addressed me by my first name and said it was for a Payroll Assistant position I applied for, I never applied for a payroll assistant position.  Don't know who they are or how they got my name.
