this is not a debt collector.
It's a plain petty scam.

I received several calls from this number over the past few days, instead of playing outgoing message or being a live person, the number simply as a computer voice say that no numbers assigned to this voice line". Weather on an inbound call or an outbound call, the same script plays and then promptly hangs up. It seems to be someone's malfunctioning voice response system

Got a rude demanding woman's call with this caller-ID 8778121162.  She refused to say the company she was calling from only that she was calling from a business office.   She asked for a particular person and I said that until I knew from where she was calling I would not put anyone in particular on the line.   She declared that she would call back when she wanted so I corrected her and instructed her to not call here again under penalties of telephone harassment.  She heard and intended to convey that she felt she had the right to call whenever she wanted.   She only identified her company by letter initials I could not fully recall but is probably the same as the message above M-R-S.   No idea where they are located or how to authenticate who's billing error they would be in a position to correct.

Do NOT even talk to these scum junk debt buyers. They will tell you all kinds of lies to get you to pay. They buy old debts for pennies on the dollar. They will do anything to collect. DONT ANSWER . If you wish to pay your old debt contact the original creditor . Never talk to or even answer these junk debt calls.

These people are the low lifes of the world. Get a real job. I will never talk to you about anything so if you call you are just wasting your time. I know where you live.,

877-812-1162 - Medical Recovery Services (MRS):
A "Debt Collection Agency" used by doctors and hospitals, known for "deceptive business practices", "like calling you and insisting payment..."
When they call, or you call them back they will answer the phone as or describe themselves as a "business office" (which is just a switch board).
They will keep insisting that you give them your name, phone number, DOB, and credit card info to take care of a bill.  They will refuse or avoid telling you who they are unless you first provide them with your personal information.

When called a voice recording will answer and state "thank you for calling our office. All of our employees are assisting patients at this time." or "our representatives are 'helping' 'patients'."  They call their collection accounts "Patients"!!!  not helping others or helping other clients...

The calling phone collectors are - rude when questioned about who they are!

Received a missed call from this number.  I called number back and male answered hello and I said this number called my house and I wanted to know who/what company was calling me.  He asked my name, which I would not give him.  I again asked what was his company name and he again said he could not tell me until I gave him my name.  He said he could not give me any personal information without my name.  I explained I just wanted to know name of company he worked for and this was not personal  information, he continued just to ask for my name and not tell me who he was/his name/his company name so I just hung up.  Seems very suspicious, any real business would have no problem with telling someone their company name.

Called work looking for Kenneth Gray. I said "wrong number" and they hung up!

This is deception at it's finrst. I received 3 calls today during business hours but failed to notice. So I called after business hours when I noticed the calls. I recieved a message that all of our representatives are 'helping' 'patients'. Patients not others or clients. Evidently like someone above commented, a collection agency for unpaid hospitol visits, such as to the Emergency room. If they want to practive and be employed by agencies that practice decptive business practices, on behalf of myself and all others I will attempt to put an end to their deceptive practices; namely not announcing who they are when you call-often to patients that are very sick. I will start by calling them during business hours and informing them if they ever contact me again via telrphone I will proceed to recover damages from state and federal laws that prevent it. Furthermore, I wii not dtop calling THEM until I receive or find out on my own the direct line to a company executive. I will recite the state and federally statutes in regards to bill collection via telephone and further add comments and willfull decepyion to circumvent these laws by misrepresenting their collection accounts as 'patients'. They may have been patients of a hospitol at one time but are now considered accounts or peoplr to collect debts from; no longer are thay patients nor ever were from a third party collection agency. I suggest everyone do the same, with authority and outrage.

Called this number back they wanted my personal information i would not give it to them. I finally agreed to give them at least my state and phone number. Then they said they were medical revenue services collecting a Dr. Debt and the Lady was rude of course this was after 45 min. of asking the name of there business and they said they were just a switch board. So they hung up on me when i asked them there information to verify who they are. So i called back and asked for who is in charge they gave me the ding back i spoke to before lol so the lady said she was a supervisor and i told her she was lying lol she got rude and started screaming at me so i told her i was calling the federal trade commision and reporting her she said F*ck You to me and go ahead.

Received a call from this number. Did not answer nor did they leave a message. I then called back and the phone just rang. Finally a voice recording answered and stated "thank you for calling our office. All of our employees are assisting patients at this time. yada yada yada. Scammers or collectors.

Received call today from this number lady was hatful wanted my address and my DOB I told her I would not give this info over the phone ask who she was working for and she would not tell me other than MRS so I hung up as not giving personal information of this nature out over the phone.

I think they called about a month ago. Asked for me, I said yes and they asked for my address to verify it was me. I said "no thanks" and hung up.

Pretty sure this is over a drs office blood work collection. Its the ONLY bill I dont pay because its inflated 400-500% and they wont negotiate. So I wont pay.

They called and asked for my son saying they would only talk to him (He's 21 and in college).  I called them back and asked what kind of company they were and they refused to tell me.  I pointedly asked them three times if they were a Debt Collection agency and after several hem's and haw's the lady specifically said: "No we are not".  

This definitely is a SCAM in my opinion.  Too much "undercover".

I got a call a few mins ago and they hung up before I could answer so I called back and the guy that answered said "business office" I explained I had gotten a call but no msg was left and asked what company they were and he said he couldn't give me that info so I hung up and called back but this time blocking my number and a lady answered saying the same thing "business office " I asked the same thing but she asked me for my number and I hung up.

I received a similar call today, returned the call and was asked for my phone number so she could redirect the call. I asked as to who I was calling and she said a business office, I asked the name of said business and she declined to give me a response. I declined to continue the conversation due to lack of clarity of information on part of a business's employees. This number is sketchy and probably a scam.

I received a call from this number yesterday.  The lady asked said she was from MRS and asked if I was still at such and such address.  I asked her what it was in regards to and she said could only give me that information if I verified my address and date of birth.  I told her I couldn't give out personal information either and she hung up.

Been getting calls from this number every day since Oct.7th. I was home when they called today, the lady stated she was trying to collect on a hospital bill (haven't been to one in bout a year or so) she insisted that I give her my credit card info now to take care of bill, I asked If I could make some kind of payment arrangement because I didn't know what bill she was talking about and she said she had to talk to her supervisor and put me on hold, she came back and said she needed my credit card information first before she could make any arrangement.I then asked her to call me back at a later time. Called local hospital and I have no bill! So I called the number back and when they answered she said just "bussiness office" I hung up. Won't answer this number again.

This number is MRS medical recovery services.  Nothing like bill collectors for doctors and hospitals who can't get their billing straight.  Got double billed by the hospital and they refuse to reverse the charge even though my insurance company proved it to them.  Even my insurance company told me not to pay!

Received phone calls from 877-812-1162 but no message is ever left on my voicemail.  I called the number (in fear it was a potential employer) and a man picked up and announced a business but I couldn't understand all of what he said.  However, I understood enough to know I didn't recognize the man or the business.  I said, "I'm sorry, I have the wrong number."  He very quickly wanted to know how to direct my call, or something like that, but I was already in hanging-up-motion.

Have a feeling it was either a telemarketer or a debt collector.  The individual who had my phone number before me has debt collectors continuously calling, even after I alerted a few of them of their calling the wrong number.
