Will not stop calling, have given this number to my attorney and they have tried to call and always get hung up on. Have no idea what they want but they can stop at any time

They call and have some rough sounding guy say your name without stating who they are or asking for someone. I hung up. This is a collections agency. I would not answer if I was you. I think it is one of two agencies, who may be the same. however, when they start the you have a file number, you need to call us today. we will put a warrant out for you, ignore it. These are scare tactics collection agencies use. If you end up answering, ask for their process server number, which they are required by law to have to serve you. There is no debtors prison so they are not serving you with diddly. And they must, by law, inform you in writing first of the debt. Then they must prove the debt. If you state I did not get anything in the mail from you, and they say we need your address, tell them well since you were going to serve me you should have it. Do not offer information, do not give credit card or payment info over the phone. Have them send it to the address they have, and if it comes to you verify the debt, and then send a money order. Never give these people your account info or address etc. They are bottom feeders. And they use illegal tactics to scare you into  paying right then.
