Caller ID was 847-488-6000. This appears to be legit number for Chase by looking at thread for that #. But barely intelligble voice mail said call was for someone (not me) regarding something (garbled0 and to call back (garbled name) at 877-822-3520. Don't own any Chase cards. Scam.

Received a call this afternoon on my cell phone by a person stating their name was "John" and that they were calling from Chase.  He then stated that there was a problem with my account and that a payment was missed.  Asked to verify my birthday.  The interesting part is that I do not have a Chase account.  When I brought this to his attention, he then said that it could be someone with the same name but a different birthday and wanted to know if I had a credit card for $6,000.  I told him that I would have to look into it and that I would call him back.  This is a scam! Do not give out your personal information. I'm going to be reporting this to Chase and also to the Attorney General's Office.

I got a call from 847-488-6000 saying the were chase card services and they need to speak to me about a personal matter and to call them back at 877-822-3520.

When I googled the first number it said it was from Chase Fraud Department...so I went to Chase's website and got their number off their website and called them.

The gal verified my accounts were fine and there were no issues with them. She also instructed me not to call those numbers back as it is most likely a phishing scam.

She said a lot of these people claim their are from Chase but what they do is contact people who owe balances and try to provide a service for a fee.

Received a voice mail stating they were form Chase Bank and to please call them at 1-877-822-3520. When I called the person did not answer the phone with a professional greeting.  However the person who answered immediately asked for my account number or social secruity number on file with Chase Bank. When I refused to give out such information, the person on the other end became quite agitated and stated that "without an account number he would not be able to tell me what was wrong with my account."  I immediately terminated the call.

Wow these guys are calling everday in the am.

We have been getting calls from 1-877-822-3520 on a daily basis.  The say they are "card services" calling on a "personal" matter.  They don't ask for a name, just a callback.  Funny thing is...  They always call after they are supposedly closed.  No way I will call someone back with a generic "card services" name...

My brother got a similar call from this number.  Doing a reverse lookup for a business phone number returns no matches.  Doing the same on residential numbers returns a match, but of course you have to pay for further info.

The number is not listed on the Chase Contact Us web page.

Is there anything that can be done other than to file a complaint?

I just talked to Chase directly with a number from their website. Chase could not verify this number.  This number is not Chase.

I received multiple messages on my cell phone from "card services". They wanted me to call back at 877.822.3520.

I did call, they wanted my "account number" and then clarified that they meant my card number. I asked them who they were. They said Chase. I asked them if they were Chase Bank or Chase Credit Card Services and they said Credit Card Services. I told them I didn't know that it was really Chase and that I needed to verify the number.

When I called the real Chase Credit Card Services they said they didn't call me and they took this number for further investigation.

I just received a phone call on my cell phone from "Chase", saying that they are trying to reach my best friend.  How they got my number, I have no idea.  They said it is extremely important that she calls them back.  The number she is to call back is 888-293-5321.

I have been receiving calls from this number for many months. I have not answered as looking 877 in the phone book it is a "BellSouth" user. I feel it is a robo call as the voice is the same, pattern same.  I finally picked up a couple days ago and said hello,hello, but the recording went on and on and on even giving hours and days open so I hung up, maybe this was put on my next  phone bill when I picked up? I am on "Do Not Call List" but this is to no avail.

After a few attemts I finally got a English speaking woman who informed me their are 3 accounts attached to my number and again wanted my Name and SS or account # as to remove this number from their records. This is a scam and dont give them ANY info. I am finishing typing out the state's attorney general consumer fraud complaint form, and will be submitting it later today.

This is the number for Chase Credit Card customer service/collections. They collect for all of the differents 'brands' under Chase like BP (gas card), Border's, etc. They call under 800-424-5004 but leave a message telling you to call this number instead. the 5004 number showed up on my caller ID 16 times last night alone, between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. Turns out they are looking for someone who listed me as a reference. I told them not to call me anymore. Have to wait & see if they follow through. And, yes, this is a collection job that was sent overseas so the operators are all Indian or Pakistani.

Same happened to me...however, the caller was a female with what I suspect was an Indian accent.

Last night, a family member got a call from this number claiming to be with Chase bank services. The person from Chase in a strong Middle Eastern accent said his name was Rick Mathews, and it was important that I call them back. The odd thing is they are calling a house where I haven't lived in for over 15 years, and are asking for me by my middle name This appears to be another scam. Chase said they are not affiliated with this phone number, and the night before someone claiming to be with Chase from 888-293-5321 called, which is a known fraudulent number. . I just finished typing out the state's attorney general consumer fraud complaint form, and will be submitting it this morning.
