This is a TOTAL SCAM! I received a call from "Rick" and thenanother call from "Curtis Malley". As soon as they tell you they need an additional $400 to $500 more than the "initial fee of $47" they become extremely rude and "want to get off the phone". Do not trust these people and do not give them money!!!

I have actually bought the bot so this is actually relevant for me. For those of you who aren't sure, Fap turbo is a forex trading bot, so quite a specific thing. Not sure how these guys would obtain your number if you've never bought the software but I thought i'd shed a bit of light in case some are worried. Mind you I let it ring to voicemail as until I came on here I hadn't a clue who the hell it was!

Cheers

I'm receiving calls daily from this number as well and what I do now with them is just as soon as I see this number come up on my screen I pick up the phone quickly and then discounnect. Also I have done this as well with other annoying ones I pick up the phone and lay it down and walk away and eventually I hang it up after an hr or two. They can't use their phone at the other end because they are still connected . Works everytime. Try this and they will quit.

I too have received a call from this number and then an imediate email claiming my number was bad or busy (gal sending email could not make up her mind).  In reality the phone rang 3 times and stopped. I do not answer unidentified calls.  I too believe that this is coming from a work at home site I recently subscribed to which indeed has my phone number and my email.   I have been barraged with calls from unsolicited sources.  Even when I answered "NO" to the questions on the surveys or that the question did not apply to me, companies for the product involved are calling.  Most distressing. Most of the sites want you to pay them money by ordering something before they will pay you the fee promised for completing the on line survey.  RIP OFF.
I answered the email and stated that they must NOT try to contact me again by phone.  I stated should they be offering a legitimate work at home income property that does NOT require financial input from me in order to get paid for my service, to email me the details.  So we shall see if they take heed. Otherwise I will be reporting them.

The 1st call I received from it I didn't answer, left no message. Called about 2 hours later & I answered. It was in response to my having gave my phone number on a survey for income type site I was experimenting with  :(  So I am at fault for putting my phone number out there. And they had my name because that was also submitted with the form I filled out. They try to prequalify you for possible 'acceptance' into their money making program which they will not give any details of up front. I should expect a call from 'upper management ' later to go over more specific plans. I passed stage one. Oh goody. The conversation did lead me to believe I will be asked to make an investment with my credit card to theoretically be used to make me money. (OPM-other people's money) From what I have researched online here so far from googling the phone number, I can surmise it will be something in the trading world. Which may work for some, but I don't think for me. Certainly not without a lot more research.

Received a call from a guy with an American accent who knew my correct name.  He said he was calling because I'd bought some currency trading software - I think for $150 and I think called something like "saf turbo".

None of this made any sense to me.  I told him that, and he seemed puzzled, and said the details he is usually provided with are usually accurate.

I called my credit card company, but they couldn't see anything untoward.

Received a third call from these fools.  "Hi Spanky!  How are you!   Blah blah trading software"

I told the guy the story.  He said "I think you'd better check your credit card statement.  You've been billed for $10,000. Ha ha!" and then he hung up.

My credit card statement shows two transactions for about $50 which have immediately been refunded.

I rang +1 801 293 3465 and some woman answered with "Platinum Training something something".  I asked her about "FAP Turbo" and she put me through to some voicemail which said it was ext 307 - leave a message.  I didn't.

I rang the same number back, and asked her whether she was just an answering service.  She kind of avoided the question and said "just leave him a message and he'll get back to you".

I will now get my credit card replaced.

At first i thought this was a sales call, but then after I listened to what they were saying, I realized that it was from Platinum Training.  They are an agency that creates testimonials about people making money on the internet.  And they use actual  mentors.  They called me because I purchased the paid surveys and more information. (I just lost my job, and needed to make money.)  I am so happy that I listened.  I was able to qualify, and they brought me on-board! If anyone is skeptical about the call, I can tell you personally that the call is for real, and so are the testimonials.

My calls and/or emails are nearly identical to Diana's and cpilotto's    I did subscribe to a service to provide me with on line work at home opportunities and OH BOY....am I sorry.  I have been barraged with calls from who knows who and where.  I do NOT answer unidentified calls.   I have spent a great deal of time weeding thru the sites the service sent my info out to trying see which ones were legit.
However, most have ended up with the only way I will get paid for taking their surveys is to purchase something from at least two of their sponser/vendors.  I will NOT pay money to get paid.  That would be counterproductive to my intent and ridiculous.
I feel that I will have to go to each one of the sites and elect to be taken off their email and contact lists and then defunct the email address.   I only hope that the company I did subscribe to has not provided any of these other sites with my payment method.

Survey
This call came in from Daniel who works for paidsurveysandmore.net, ext 2020.  He was trying to convince me to take their special group of people to earn more money and they would provide extra help in order to use me for their promotionals...get more idiots to participate and bring in more money for they.  When I refused and told him I wanted a full refund he became a little angry, would not give me a number or e-mail address in order to request a refund which I have tried to do for a week now.

Received another call - 7 days after the first.  I told the guy the story (i.e. I had never heard of them, hadn't knowingly bought their software for $150) and he told me the following:

The company is "FAP Turbo" based in Salt Lake City - www.fapturbo.com,  tel +1 801 293 3465.
He said they could have got my details if I'd typed certain things into Google Search Bar.  I do not use Google.

He said he'd put a note on my account (I have an account?) and suggested I keep an eye on my credit card statement.
