These people call my house everyday and clog up my answering machine for someone with a name I've never even heard of. I've had my number for 7 years so I'm not sure where they got it from but there is no option to speak to someone when you pick up the call, only a message with this number as a call-back number. The message states they are trying to collect at debt. I've tried to call to have my number erased from their files but I sit on hold forever and no one ever picks up. No option to leave a message. I've tried hitting every key on the phone and nothing gets the call to be picked up. It's so annoying!

They are not in violation of the Do Not Call Registry.  Did they attempt to sell you goods or services and collect compensation over the phone?   Debt collectors and/or skip tracers are not telemarketing, they are just another unwanted phone call.   Until you tell them to cease calling......

These morons are spending an enourmous amount of electronic resources by callling anybody with the same last name.  This is the third call in three days I've received, none of which had my name correctly (Aaron, William, and Wayne).  These calls should be treated, federally, in violation of the rules of the Do Not Call registry.
