I received this number several times this past month, and I am on the do not call registery, and I also reported them to the do not call registry thank you for letting me know they are an auto insurance network.

Ever heard of DO NOT CALL?

i too just recieved a call from this number and when i called it back it said i reached travlers fax.. hahaha.. what the heck ...who are these people?????

I had told these people numerous times to stop calling me & they acted like they could not understand me..i'm sure call came from overseas. I told them I was not interested and was on the Do Not Call List, but they still proceeded to transfer me to an agent from Freeway Ins. I then just hung up. They have continued to call me several times daily  I called Freeway Ins. and they told me that these people were not affiliated with their co.  The gentleman from Freeway was very helpful and told me he thought the name of the Company was called Life Transfer.  I then. just decided to.call my phone carrier and had their number blocked.  I hope this works!

This number called my cellphone twice. The first call at 12:31pm and the second call at 5:18pm. I didn't pick-up since I didn't recognize the number nor do I know who the call is from

these annoying insurance companies call several times a day and i found the only way to stop it is to answer the phone and tell them not to call. this time i picked up, after they have been calling me at least twice a day for the last week; and no one was on the other side. isn't there anything we can do to protect our privacy? this is getting extremely annoying!

I received a call from the above # selling auto insurance.  The number they called is for EMERGENCIES ONLY, given to caregivers for my mother.  The person on the other end said she got my number from their marketing dept.  I pay for the calls these idiots make and I am sick and tired of it.  What do we do to ensure our privacy?

Someone was on the line and offered a free quotation for auto insurance.
She was willing to transfer to another auto insurance agent and I said please don't and hung up.

this number 877-856-4738 continually calls. I don't answer. I am on the "do not call" list but they
ignore it.  Isn't this illegal? If so, why isn't the FCC doing something?

I am on the do not call registry also. I never answer calls from 800 numbers and I do not call them back. If they are legitimate, they will leave a message. I received 3 calls in the last 2 days. It is still irritating to have the phone ring because a telemarketer does not follow the rules.

This number is for a telemarketer called Mayfair Communications.  Their president is listed as Andrew Grimwade.  You can file a complaint about them with the National Do Not Call Registry: https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

They've called daily for the last week.  When I finally called back I heard static much like a fax line.  They have since called back several times.

Calls but leaves no message. They'd leave a message if it mattered, right?

Come on people, we all need to make a living just like everyone else.

If you don't want to Purchase it, say no.

They have called me 5 times in 6 hours.  They say they are Freeway Insurance and want to provide me with a free quote.  There's always a lot of noise in the background and the person (different people) has an extremely strong accent.  I tell them I'm on the Do Not Call Registry and what they're doing is illegal to call me and I tell them not to call me back.  When I ask for a manager, they fumble around and hang up on me.  I've left 5 complaints with the Do Not Call Registry and I hope they do something about this.

They called me twice today--once at 10:00am and 1:00pm. Both times, lots of noise in the background so it's obviously a "boiler room" and both times with HEAVY accents.  They said they were calling from Freeway Insurance and wanted to give me a free quote on car insurance.  I told them that I was on the Do Not Call registry so what they were doing was illegal which shows they're trying to scam people.  Then they hung up.  I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry but not sure if it will do any good.

These scam artists have been calling me twice a day for the last two weeks. I ask them to take me off of their list and they always say "I will try, but there is no guarantee that your name will be taken off of the list" I said that's crazy and there needs to be a way. I then ask for the company's name and phone number to call them back and they always say "Auto Insurance Network, but I don't know what our number is". These people need to leave me alone! I really don't want to have to change my number. -_-"

I received a call from 877 856-4738. The caller did not say a word, just hung up. I called it back and a fax machine picked up the line. Hmmm.

"Do not call" lists may work for US-based companies.
These calls could be coming from overseas. If so, what can be done about it?
Any ideas out there?

First call was this morning at 9:27am (pst) as Unknown on the caller ID; no message left. Second call was this afternoon at 12:43pm (pst) showing 877-856-4738; no message left again. Called back and received a fax machine contact static. I as well am on the DO NOT CALL list.

I received two calls from them this morning as well

I received a call from 877-856-4738.  Caller ID: "Unavailable."   Left no message.  I tried to call back a few times but had only got a fax machine beep.  I am on national DO NOT CALL list.
