I just won a "car, or a major prize"? He couldn't tell me anything. "I am just a verifier". I don't remember signing up at a street fair but I sure am gonna be a bit more careful about putting out my phone number from now on.

Just got a postcard saying "In celebration of our anniversary" (meaning the company sending me the card) you were verified as of (date) and will be issued 2 complimentary roundtrip tickets to any major international airport in the continental US.  I smell SCAM!  They used the United Airlines Log, but nowhere does it say on the card that this is a United offer, and the postmark is typical - West Palm Beach, which is just like all of the other scams.  I'm tempted to call to see if they'll send the tickets without trying to get me to attend the scam presentation first, just for the fun of it.  Oh yeah, they even offer a free Olive Garden gift card if I respond now!  Whoooo, that really got me excited!

I got the same card on 3/29/11.  I smell scam also and went to look up the 877-863-8878 online and found this.  I suspect fraud also.  It had the United logo but no info on the company.  I am throwing it away.

I got the same thing, but mine has United and not United Airlines, plus the logo changed years ago when they merged with Continental,so I'm 99.999999% sure this is a scam!

We booked a trip last week with United Airlines, then 3 days later we recevied a post card with Untied Airlines and this phone number on it. Called it for giggles and a answer machine picked up saying they were closed. Just a coincidence that we book a trip with United then received post card.

I googled it.  Some people posted that it is a scam that wants to sell you software, get your credit card number for a "refundable" deposit from the hotel.  I am sure they will then drain your card dry.

Just got a postcard asking me to call this number.  It has the United Airlines logo on top and says "In celebration of our anniversary.....you are going to receive a certificate for two round trip tickets to any major international airport in the continential usa.  Plus 3 days/2 nights to a Marriott or Holiday Inn of your choice.  Bonus, if you call within 72 hours you will also receive $30 dinner card to be used at either Red Lobster or Olive Garden."  It then gives the number and notes  "Relax, this is not a timeshare offer."

I didn't call the number.  Anybody know what this is about?
