Hey Everyone, as I have stated this company is 'possibly fake'. When the Fair Debt Collection called them, they gave them 2 different locations!! Yeah okay! I called them and told them not to call my job anymore and that my phone calls were being 'recorded by the FBI! I have not heard from them since,so another fake company trying to rob hardworking people it seems!

I also gave their information to the Federal Trade Commission! They will be caught! The guy @ the FBI said they sounded 'fake' to him as well! Stay encouraged and be Blessed!

I had 2 so called summons serverss call me on back to back days and they were for different Payday Loans and said I had court cases pending and criminal charges for bounced checks and bank fraud. They left these messages on my home phone but must have called my celll after when I spoke to them.

Same thing from both calls treateniing to serve me summons at work or at home OR I can call debt collector and try to make settlement arrangements.

I had loans that from each of these companies for $300 and was paying the interest of $180 a month for numerous months before I had to stop that debit. They are now telling me I owe over $1500 on each of these and each collector offered a settlement I one said $800 and the other said $1100). I said I would fight the amount in court. The second company transferred me to 3 different people trying to get me to settle.

All sounds too fishy to me. Server me and sue me if this is legit. I said I am not poaying anything.

Also, neither company would send me US mail or allow a payment in any other way except credit card, debit card or bank acct number.

If I do go to court I will proclaim I thought I was being a subject to fraud.

Debt Collector
Hey all, I just received a phone call from a Frank Mendoza letting me know that he was about to come out my way to serve me a Court Summons to appear in court. Then he started to say or you can call this number 1-888-249-0475 and then he provided me with a case number to give them and that way he wouldn't have to come out and serve me the papers. I called the number and they said that it was for a payday loan and that I owed $1450 but if I was willing to pay the debt now then they could lower it to $800. She also said that I can make monthly payments of $200 over 4 months and she wanted me to supply her with a card that has a visa or MasterCard logo on it. I decided to call her back to get a mailing address for them and she said that she couldn't give out that information bc of threats. Then I asked her for a PO Box and she said that she couldn't give me that either. I called the number 1-888-595-9111 that was provided to the debt collector listed above and now their doing some research on this company. Thanks to all of you and I'll update you on what I find out.
Thanks, Liz

I went through this a few months back. Got many calls saying I was getting served or the authorities were coming to my home of place of business. let me tell you guys a few things about these calls.
1.they will not show up at your house or job. Don't be afraid. that is what they are trying to feed on. Your fear.

2. they are not real debt collectors. most likely, they obtained your information on the internet. How? Because there is a chance that you filled out something that looked legitimate but wasn't. Like a Payday loan form that you originally got denied for, or the site supposedly timed out, but guess what..they got your information as soon as you sent submit. Once this happens they will start calling you telling you own a payday loan which you never got. This is how these companies get you. I learned my lesson! I will never fill out a pay day loan form online again. won't fill out anything on any site that I am not sure is legit.

3. They try to confuse you by getting you to confim this information by making you think that you gave it too them. Well you did, but not intentionally. Do not confirm anything. Period. tell them that you can not give out information over the phone and do what I did. Get a phone number from them, because most likely they will give you one to call back and have a police officer call and pretend to be you or an attorney.

4. another thing that you can do is set up a google voice account which is free and use that number to fill out information on the internet if you need to input a phone number. it has helped me immensely. Google voice is free and I put it on all online forms that I have to fill out. This will weed out these idiots calling your real phone.

hopefully i have helped a little. :)

Miss Love Truth,

I agree with you.

No one showed up at my house today as they said they would.

If they truly had a court case I am sure I would have been served.

I am waiting to get another call from them.

Hey All!! I just a call from a man named,Frand Mendoza leaving me a message. He said that they will come to my job or my home concerning this debt. The guy did not leave the name of the company,so I decided to call and it sounded like the same guy.  I do keep a tape recorder near my phone,I learned this through the FairDebtCollection.Com.  I recorded the message left and the call with the so-called'Rep'.

When I asked for something to be mailed to me,he said no that they do everything electronic.Sent up major red flags. Said they have to get the money first, cause that is what the court said? Yeah sure!
Please call 1-888-595-9111 the Fair Debt Debt Collection if they are real, cause their practices suck!!!

They are breaking every rule on how to collect a debt properly!!!! If they are fake, let us call FBI and the CIA!!! They have been cracking down on these scam artists!!!!

GOD Bless,

I also got a call this morning and they said I was going to served a summons and they already attempted the summons but I was not home. They said to call this number and get case details. When I called the number they did not give me a court date they said I could make settlement arrangements for $2400 for a loan that I owed $390 on. They said I was being charged with bank and check fraud. I told them to come and serve me and I will fight it in court. I can't see paying $2400 on an amount that was originally $300. They asked if I will be home the next 3 hours. Waiting for them to arrive.

Stated they were legally representing a pay day loan and about to serve a warrant at my job if I do not payment arrangements with them, This case was included in a bankruptcy filing, this is very similar to other pay day schemes to get you to pay reagrdless of the filing. Most pay day loan will attempt this as they state in their contract you cannot file, but they for the most part are not legal in most states
