I KEEP GETTING BLOCKED CALLS ALL DAY EVERY DAY. BACK TO BACK. ITS THAT DUMBASS MARK DAVIS. WHO IS SO EFFIN RUDE AND CLAIMS THAT HE HAS "SERVED AND THAT I NEED TO BE AT MY HOUSE TOMORROW @ 10 OR MY JOB. GIVING ME THAT NUMBER 877-957-5028 TO CALL BACK! THIS ISNT REAL RIGHT?

The debt is a valid debt. It is for a payday loan. They will continue to call under several different names some numbers are shown, some are private. They do not leave any messages about what the debt is, just a contact number and claim number. I had one person tell me they showing up to my home. I was there that day just by chance, no one ever showed. The person called back 5 after saying since no one was home she was.going to my work. I asked my job the next day if someone was looking for me. They said no. Now today I get a call from the same company but from a different person. This person said the same thing about serving me but only officers or attorneys serve people, so I called my downtown courthouse they said they said not to worry that the company is trying to scare me, I was actually reccomended to report them to the BBB .

Bristol Group Collections. Lady called my cell about 2 monyhs back stating that a person I never heard of waswas going to be served at home, then called back next day said since no answer at home she was going to employement. She called under another number. Now this guy from the same company calls says everything she said. Only, he calls from a private number (which is illigal btw) and only leaves the contact number to Bristol group company not even located in my state of residence. NO NEED to worry. It is just a way to sacre you into paying a loan debt. If you feel worried just call your courthouse ask them. They will tell you No.

No one gets a heads up before they're served.  When this joker calls back, tell him that you are demanding he mail you (not email or fax) a debt validation letter showing original creditor, amount owed, date of loan, date of last payment and if his company is licensed to claim and collect said debt in your state.  If he refuses or says it was already sent, tell him that per the FDCPA, you owe him NOTHING.  Remember - no proof that you owe this debt to him means you owe him nothing.

Report the call to the FTC, the FBI and your state's Attorney General.

I got a call from an anonymous number asking if I was going to be home on a certain date so that he could serve me. I told him I was not, so he told me to call 1-877-957-5028 tell them my file #262858 and see if I could get my serve date changed.  I called them and they said they couldn't change the date but if I payed 350.00 then it would be settled. If I didn't pay before I was served then it was in the courts hands and I would have to pay 1500.00.

The same guy, Mark Davis has called and left three messages stating he will be at my house or place of employment, and to have a valid ID ready, and he also stated I've been officially notified. I checked with my local courthouse to see if there was a subpoenas or legal action against me, and I didn't find anything. He comes off like a legal processor, but he is not. Remember people, if you got a payday loan throught the internet, they did not run your credit for this loan. These are all aggressive tactics to scare or intimidate you topay. They will try to make life miserable for you. Calling your job, they will even send over an income verification form to your job. They can't sue you, only store front payday companies can. These guys are a joke and they do scam. If they do call your job, tell your supervisor to ask them to stop calling and let them know its possibly a scam. Contact your attorney Generals office, as well as FBIw.

Got a call from a blocked number.  Message said this is Mark Davis notifying you that you will be served at your place of residence or job tomorrow and to be available between 10 am - 2 pm.  He said to call 877-957-5028 and reference case no. 254852.  Not certain if I should bother calling it sounds scary but it also sounds like a scam.  Anyone ever call these people back?

It's a scammer trying to scare people into paying bogus debts or debts that have already been paid off.  Report the calls to the FTC, the FBI and your state's Attorney General.  Let the callers know that all calls they make to you (at work or home) are being recorded to give to your attorney (even if you don't have one) for multiple violations of the FDCPA.  Also tell them you've reported them to the authorities.  Do NOT let them scare you into paying a debt that isn't yours.  No one is called ahead of time and given a heads up they'll be served.

I also got a call from a Mike Davis that said someone was coming to my workplace or home on 7/29/13 so I better be in one of those places so I can be served.  If you call during off hours, you are directed to leave a message for mr. Gallo (sp).  I don't know what the Bristol Group is or what they are talking about.

This guy has called me two days in a row. So yesterday I called that number and some guy named Eric answered and I told him why I was calling and He wanted me to settle some loan that I knew nothing about we argue I told him I didnt need anyone coming to my job with b***s*** and he told me I wasnt calling the shots so I asked him if he would like someone coming to his job giving u a hard time and he hung up the phone. So if it was serious I dont think he would have got all upset and end the call. Scammers!!!!

This Mark Davis keeps calling my MOTHER'S cell phone and caring her telling her that they will be at MY house or place of work on a certain date and time to deliver legal documents and that I am being served.
Why doesn't the jerk call MY cell # AND STOP SCARING MY MOM!!! I'm gonna find this SOB and GIVE him a reason to press charges if he doesn't stop calling her!
