They are the bill collectors pushing their legal limit to threaten you or to scare you.
Just don't take them seriously and don't accept their request.
They are jerks but only doing their job.

I received 2 more calls, one on my home and one on my cell. I called them back and they stated my ex daughter in law gave them my information as I would be happy to sign for 'papers' for her. I asked what the 'papers' were and she refused to tell me. As if I would sign for something for someone I haven't even spoken to in many years/

I just received a phone call on my cell phone, from a Michael Jones, he stated my name and said he was with 'Legal Claims Service' and he was scheduled to drop off some papers to me tomorrow morning and needed to make sure someone over the age of 18 was 'there' to receive them and for me to please call 877-978-0926. Then he quoted a bogus docket number. Oh and the phone number he was calling from was 'Withheld'

John Davies called stating he's dropping off papers tomorrow between 9 & 12.  Called the number from a land line, & the receptionist asked me if I knew a Paul Robee.  I gave  them a stern "NO" & they hung up.  Sounds like they're fishing.

They called me today and said that they are para legal and want to deliver summons for a court case for not paying my credit card. What I am really surprised about is how they got my sister's number in another state. and called her too trying to find me. She was never on any of my account and even her last name is different.

John Davies called - new bits of my address and left it on an aswering machine to tell me that he would be on my property the next day (4/18/13) between the hours of 9 and 12.  I have no idea who this is or what it's about, but the property I live on isn't in my name.  Didn't say last name, only first name and only got my address partially correct.  As far as I know, no one showed up on my property.

I received this same call from Christina yesterday with a case number CAxxxxxRW talking about further action on the property.  She never said where she was calling from.  Today I get a call from Mr. Rayburn about case number CAxxxxxxCVL wanting to verify my address.  I don't own any property.  I think it has to be a scam as well since neither one said where they were calling from.

Got a voicemail/missed call from this number and Christina saying in a scary threatening message to verify the address and a case number starting with CXxxxxxRW. I tried calling the number back. She never identified where or on behalf of whom she was calling. I find that sketchy. I am in Texas. Anyone else?
