Just received a call on my cell phone. I returned the call and it was a collection firm in Knoxville, TN. I gave them my cell number and they were trying to reach someone else but said they would remove my number from their computer. It is Finklestein, Kern, Steinberg and Cunningham Law Firm

right! if companies took responsibility for how they make credit accounts or loans to individuals then they wouldn't look to ruin someone's life after they've sold them a bad decision. i say saving the auto industry is good. let the credit and loan companies burn in hell!

Unreal - you answer and they just play a vm with someone's name.
then it goes to a hold....
over and over - if a REAL person would leave a message you would at least know who it is
and what its for !
Get these every so often - think I'm on some list or my number is...

I get a call from this number DAILY for the past 2months. They leave a recorded message saying "sorry this call is for an answering machine"??

Finkelstein, Kern, Steinberg and Cunningham debt collectors. If it wasn't for these 800 info for calls, I wouldn't know who this was. It doesn't even let you answer or call back because it says "Sorry this call is for only an answering machine." How would you know who or what this call it?

We have received this call since back in February. We get the same message then it hangs up. How are we suppose to know anything! I have tried to answer just out of curiosity. You can't. It is really strange. I don't know how we can stop it. Maybe the "No Call" registry would take care of this.
