I went right to the website and hit the tab for file claim. I entered my claim number and got a confirmation number. it was very simple. I googled BrentSettlement

i did exactly what they said to do in the paper work they sent and its been over a year now and no one answers the phone when u call. i thought i recieved this stuff cuz we they took me to court over a old bill and i mean old like 5yrs they said i owen 800 and i had paper work showing 450 so we went to court and i paid 50 a month till it was paid for was over an old credit card i had when i was 18 and didnt pay when i lost my job so i waited for them to pass it from one collection agency to another until this comapany took me to court .not sure whats go n on now but wish i would of left it alone..i think its just away for them to c if u still owe money for any type of collection

I too rec'd a post card awhile back. I have been following this Class Action and IT IS NOT a scam! I've been fighting MCM (Midland Credit) for YEARS now. They never served me papers or could ever validate this debt that they said I owed. I has no idea who MCM was until I pulled my credit report. I believe the Class Action Suit was approved and everyone who fell under this Class Action will receive a check for $10 and from the way the court papers are reading (although I'm not 100% positive) it looks like all judgments will start showing up on credit reports as "Dismissed w/ predjuce". Which means, MCM can not sue you vice versa for the same thing twice. I pulled my credit report today and the judgment is currently showing as "pending".

I also received a letter and i returned the post card way back in the summer time. Today is the first time I visited this site, since receiving this letter, after reading all the post I am led to believe that this is a scram

where did you find the judgement letter clarence?

i may have gotten this call, didn't really wonder about it, i don't answre a lot of my calls.

I recieve a poscard saying if i submit a clam from vis mail or on line at the web sit by June 1,2011, i will remain in the settlement class and will be entitled to recieve a cash pament from the settlement fund. submited the clam, having hurd anything from then. i hope you find out whats going on.

I didn't receive a phone call but I received a notice in the mail...
I just went on the above website, and I was able to file a claim online.  I even received a confirmation number that my claim was received.

What is this? Scam or Phishing Debt Collection Agencies? And all for $10.00 per claimant. Not worth the hassle. Lawyers are getting all the "settlement". Beware of what sounds too good to be true!!! I got the notice in the mail, can't find the "how" to file online, I have ID locator #, there isn't a site for BrentSettlement, or a place to "file a claim". I say it's a SCAM.

I"m kinda confused, Is this a scam, & your telling me the lawyer firm that wrote me is a scam & not too Reply or just send in the Post card they send me?? Kinda have conflickting mess. Above?? That Ph. # is on my letter & says I can either sign up online or mail in the post card. What do you suggest i do? Don"t havemy own lawyer too talk too & currently can"t afford one! They did"nt call me, thay mailed me a letter.

I tried to find the find a claim form on line and could not.

The number is attached to BrentSettlement.com, alerting folks they are entitled to money if they participate in a class action lawsuit against Midland Credit Management, a debt collector. Still investigating, however sounds like a clever fishing expedition by a debt collector. Be careful.

They called my cell today and did not leave a message.

I recieved the same letter in the mail and I can not find their website neither
