The same ad is on Milwaukee craigslist for today. Of course when I searched the address on Google, it doesn't exist.
The ad is under apts/housing for rent
$675 / 2br - excellent part of Milwaukee, 2 bedroom 2 baths NEAR SHOPS (72 Arctic Ln, Milwaukee).

Ha, same ad on CL for Buffalo. 628 N. Medford Ave, Buffalo. I'd hate to give this guy ideas onhow to "improve" his scam but... address doesn't exist. Street does but not the number. I'm glad I googled the number. Thanks for the heads up everyone.

They posted one in Charleston, SC for a 2 bedroom. I hadnt been able to make contact with a person but when I looked for the house on mapquest. The address didnt exist. I have flagged it on craigslist.

The Same thing just happened to my and my boyfriend. The ad was under $675 / 2br - Big kitchen with pantry Pittsburgh 2 big bedrooms 2 ba (628 N. Medford Ave, Pittsburgh). It looked very nice so I had him call since I was at work, they guy wanted his credit card info and my boyfriend refused, he told the man that he had the address and they guy said to go look at it ourselves then and my boyfriend hung up. I went to look and they had removed it before I could flag it. DO NOT GIVE YOU ACCOUNT NUMBER TO THESE PPL!

This was posted in the W MA craigslist a couple of weeks ago:
"there is a fake company out there saying that they have forclosed homes for really cheap...ie...the one under this post for a house for $675. they give you a # to call(888-210-9522) and then try to get you credit card # and then rip you off for whatever you have in your account. watch out and please flag if you see them. thanks.
****UPDATE**** as soon as i posted this they deleted their add. watch out though because they have been doing this for a while and have older posts on here. a good way to spot them is they do not give an exact location for the property...ie and address but no city or state. they also use the words western massachusetts in most of their street names.flag if you see them!!!"
