I got a call from this number today, and someone actually picked up.  
It was from Lightwave Magazine and she "wanted some information to renew my subscription".  When I said I wanted to speak to a supervisor, she hung up.

Yes, you can do something about it.  Tell them to remove your phone number from their caller registry.  They are required by law to comply.  If you get another phone call from them, then you can tell them that charges can be pressed against them for disturbance.  That usually takes care of it.

I've been getting a series of calls from this number.  No one is on the line when I pick up my phone.  It's very annoying and disruptive.  Oh well, at least it's not just me they are doing this to.  Anyone know if there is anything I can do?

I got a call from this number, when I picked up and said hello.. the other end got disconnected. And guess what .. they called my work number and I donot know how they got hold of that..

I've been getting phone calls from 888-215-6580. When I answer, there is no one on the line. I'm guessing it is a computer generated call from a call center somewhere. It's odd that I would receive a call from a telemarketer since my number is on the federal do not call list.

I keep getting calls from this number. When I answer it sounds like a person the other end. There is a few seconds of muted noise in the background then they hang up directly in my ear.
