Got letter from federal relief advisory and the number is 877_303_1140. Anyone knows anything about this number?

i also keep getting phones from this number but i dont own anything not even a home. im gettting phones from another number to its 1-877-613-5607 and they are saying their name is Nick Adams and when i called an answering machine picked up saying only u have reach Victor Russi leave ur name and number. i do owe some bills my credit is bad but i dont owe thousands or billions and they are threating to come to my house and my work with court papers.

Call the Attorney generals offic ein Utah to report this 801-366-0145. Thwy have already had an order to stop doing residental modifications in may of 2011.

I received what looked like a federal notice in the mail 10 days ago about calling into 888-224-7073. With a friends help we found out that this is a scam. I just hope I can stop this before they try to empty my bank account. They have all my information. I tried to call the bank report line however they were closed.

my husband and i were haveing trouble paying our mortgage and we decided to do a modified loan well we talked with our real mortgage company and then got off the phone with them we checked the mail and recieved this letter and my husband only assumed if was from our motgage sending us something in the mail not thinking anything of it my husband had called and gave them all of our information and our bank stuff so the day that he told me about what was going on i took all them money out of our bank and closed our accounts, having said that that day i closed our accounts we got something in the mail from our real mortgage company to fill out paper work to see what we could do and these people got all of our information from public record. so as pissed off as i was i called the FBI, went to our post office, called all of the creditors and contacted channel 12 news so that if this happenes to anyone who thinks its for real will now about it, because we had no idea of this sight until after the fact thank god im more parinoide then most people or we would have been screwed, they didnt get any money but if they call back im giving them a peice of my mind :}

I also got the mailer and went to the site...curious.  Nothing about it felt right, even though the timing is weird since I'm modifying my mortgage.  Glad my instincts are confirmed by others.

The same phone number now has website www.modifyus.com as website along with the case number and sketch of the federal building and other stolen logos.  The CC Brown Law shows lawsuits.

I have reported this firm to the Better Business Bureau as well. They are a pure scam, using outdated information to scare people into contacting them for foreclosure assistance.

I, too, received a letter in the mail. Upon further checking (via their address), I learned that this company is called CC Brown Law Firm. There are at least 4 listings of their horrid practices on ripoff.com  And yes, apparently money is wanted up front. Although looking official, via their website and the letter itself, these people are the scum of the earth. Trash and burn this letter immediately!!!

I received a mailer with Case #, email - www.mortgagerelief.us.com, list a current mortgage amount and reduced payment. States it is a Loan Modification plan and I may qualify for mortgage relief. List this # to call 888-224-7073 for immediate assistance. Website domain unclaimed. SCAM

On a mailer I received for Mortgage Relief Advisory -LOOKS LIKE A SCAM. SAME MAILER CAME ON THE SAME DAY WITH A DIFFERENT NUMBER OF1866-511-0001.  Total BS.
