Where do these ppl get this info? I got a call from a local # asking for my sister in law. they did not mention money, but said that papers would be served at my old address (she had used my address for awhile and did have some parking tickets outstanding at one point)

My only concern is that the constable would show up at my old address, which I now rent out. They told me to contact my s-i-l and tell her to call 1-888-225-7707.

She called it and told me it was a scam. I looked it up and sure enough here we are... so how do these peopl get so much detailed info and what do they want???

I have recieved multiple phone messages from this number telling me I must call with a certsin docket number or a decision would be made on my behalf without me. They claim to be a legal dept.for efs incorporated.(whoever that is)I know its a scam because I dont owe anyone anything and if they wanted me served they certainlyt wouldnt be calling. I hope some one nails these harrasing people and hangs them by thier nxxs

This company harassed my elderly parents and provoked my father into a panic attack because he thought i was in serious trouble. My father's A heart patient and it under doctors care now. Shame on them.

Got a call from unknown caller who left a voicemail. Said that she was from my county's processors office and that court papers were going out for processing to a lawyer's office. She gave a bogus court docket number to refer to when I call 1-888-225-7707. First off, the number came in as unknown. Official  government county offices display their mumber. Secondly, the call was made after 6 pm which is way after county offices are closed. Thirdly, the unidentified caller said she was with the county office by a certain name and there is no such person working there. And finally, I have nothing that would concern using a court. I will be following up reporting this bogus call using local government credentials.

This is how the scam goes, according to complaints when you search "Executive Filing" aka EFS Inc: Someone calls with caller ID blocked, claims to want to serve lawsuit papers, may lead you to believe he is law enforcement, uses bogus docket # (call the court house, they have no such number), there is no real lawsuit). He says you must call 888-225-7707 by a certain time or "it" gets turned into the courthouse. Called claiming to be with the sheriff's dept. Gave bogus docket number and made threats. Put an end to this illegal scam. Call and file a complaint so it's investigated.

Called with message "must call by 3pm or it goes to court house". Gave bogus "docket number" that does not match anything close to any real number. Jerk should know it has to be at the court house already to get a docket #. Caller ID came up as "Out of Area". Led my relative to believe he was law enforcement. What they are doing is against the law. File complaints with, your local police, other authorities, etc.

I received the same type of call.  I contacted my local police and they told me that if the police was calling, it would not be a toll-free number.  They asked that I not call them back and told me that there was nothing they could do regardless if I file a report.  Beware everyone!

I got two messages that were similar from two different numbers, one from Illinois and one from Hawaii, telling me to call this number.  The message was not even for me.  I smell a rat.

I get calls telling me to call this number for someone else.  I believe it is a scam.  Other numbers associated with this number come from Illinois and Hawaii.
