This is a legitimate number. Chances are they should be trying to reach someone in your AP department if they are calling at work. They also called me at work and we do owe them for some security services, they just had the wrong person. Just give them the name and number of the AP person and the calls should stop.

Well I got a call here at work from these people.

Automated system asking us to call back using the number they just called from. LOL

Not sure why they just didn't start a conversation when I was on the line covering from the receptionest.

We do owe ADT. We aren't going to pay due to a contract dispute. And I don't listen to robocalls.

IT IS LEGIT ADT NUMBER

Tyco Integrated Security Services that is probably ADT. We do not have that account anymore and no service but they might still have the account running despite the cancellation of service. Good luck.

same story as Sam & Michael I received a message on recorder saying account number# is past due and to press 1 to make payment . We do not have ADT service.

I also got a call from them.  I have no ADT account.  I filed a complaint at fcc.gov.  Everyone should file a complaint so maybe they can hunt down these people who are scamming.

this is a blatent phishing attempt-
they called my google voice account 3 days in a row!
I do have an account with ADT the CSR at ADT told me he was forwarding it on to security (fwiw)

ADT Security Services left message for accounts payable to call 888-238-2455. Left a reference number only no other details. We DO NOT have an account with ADT.

Here is the message I got at 12:01PM today (7/14/2010): "Again, that number is 888-238-2455" No other details at all.

Same thing just happened from this number.  I have ADT, but confirmed that my account is current.

Received truncated voice message that ADT account is past due and that I need to contact their AP dept. Have no account with ADT.

Same thing just happened on my work line.  The call starts as if beginning was cut off, and then starts talking about past due balance.  Crooks...

Sam story as Michael.  I received a message on my recorder saying account number 114935654 is past due and to press 1 to make a payment.  We do not have ADT service.

They call almost every day! Saying they need late payment on account #11070782. The only option is to press (1) to make a credit card payment. We have NO account with ADT! This has been going on for almost 3 months!
