I received a call today that was intended for a family member. Angie Y said she had my number as an emergency contact number. She informed me that she had extremely urgent information for *** and it was time-sensitive that she make contact with them. She asked for the correct phone number and place of employment - information I did not give. I told her I would pass on the message if she would tell me what it was in reference to, what company she works for, her name and number. She told me the information was protected under government regulation (she wouldnt say which); she told me she worked for the Office of DRS (investigation divulged this to be a common debt recovery agency); and the number she gave me was this 888 number (although she called from my own area code).

If she chooses to call again, I will 1. ask to be taken off the call list and 2. inform her of the repercussions to violating the Fair Debt Collection Practice laws. http://www.ftc.gov/enforcement/rules/rulemaki ... es-act-text#807

This is a debt collector. Angie works for Dynamic Recovery Solutions.
They use the typical scam lines just to try and get you on the phone.

Apparently these people are still at it, because my husband got a call today from the same Angie Yelder saying she had information he didn't know and she was trying to help him. Scam for sure.

Got a call from a Angie yelder.. My daughter answered and asked who it was she just gave her name and said that it was urgent and that she can't wait that I need to call her back asap... She would not leave a message.. She called at this number 888-253-8651

Just to update - got this same call today.  Told my husband she couldn't tell him why she was calling due to some government regulations.

Yes they called me but my sister picked up she say that i need to call her she have paper work to get done and i need to call them but she will not leave a message

Got a call from 888-253-8651 from Angie Yelder...that is was urgent and the sooner I call the more she can help me out...Scam!!

Got the same call today. Angie yelder calling from 954-417-7340. Would not say her company name just that she had urgent info for me and was trying to help me. Lol these scammers are jokes. She gave this number 1-888-253-8651 as her direct line for callback.

Did not leave message either just said it is Urgent...her name was Angie Yelder...she did leave message with my sister's saying hot checks, etc...I never wrote a hot check and never had checks long enough bc I dont like checks...idk dont trust these people...
