called, saw it was an "888" number so did not answer, they didn't leave a msg

It started spamming my phone today. No message left.

If you wish to be removed, call the number back. When the automated system picks up and asks you if you would like to hear the special say "No". It then asks you how else it can help you, say "Do not call". It will then prompt you through the Do-Not-Call removal process. Once complete it will notify you that it will take 30 days for you to be completely removed. Hang up and go about your day!

They claim to be Allstate selling the Good Hands Roadside service.... That is free.  It's very sketchy. I already have the roadside assistance with my policy and when I told them that they hung up without another word. Please do not buy anything from this number! If you want the roadside assistance contact your agent!

I received a call from this number this morning and they left a voice mail but didn't say anything (just a lot of background noise). Didn't recognize the number and didn't call back.

I have Allstate and have had for years......tired of these calls selling more insurance...they need to call on regular number instead of every other number in the book...will not buy more insurance anyway....I hate telemarketers!

Received 3 calls from this number in the past 2 weeks, one just now at 2:45 PST. Didn't answer, no message left.

Yup, I have Allstate and I am glad I know where these phone calls are from at least. I have been getting two or three a week for two months. Now I go and talk to my agent and say stop them or I switch insurance and save the headache of the calls I hope. Thanks for the info.

Just got a call a few minutes ago - no message.

FOR EVERYONE ANNOYED WITH THIS (thinks it's a scam, etc.) go to the App Store on your phone.  There's an app called Call Control (blue shield with a red phone icon in the middle).  It's a free download and you can change the settings to immediately send 800 #s directly to voicemail or pick up/hang up.  It also has a reporting feature that you can send to a national database.  It's been extremely helpful in screening calls.  Best part is that I don't have to hear my phone going off all the time.

Calls but no message. I have received at least 3 calls from this number in the past weeks. Everyone says it's Allstate and that's my insurance company. I guess I'm going to have to cancel my policy if they call again.

Oh it's Allstate alright.  They have called me 4 times in the last 2 weeks.  2 times I answered, and told them not to call back.  They do this every summer, and if I do happen to answer I always tell them not to call again.  This really needs to stop.

Check out Erie Insurance. Great coverage for great rates. They are now insuring 3 vehicles for less than Alstate was charging for 2. Nice cars too. Not BMW's or anything; but not Ford Pintos either.

I left Allstate and went to Stare Farm so I no longer do business with them, they keep calling me too and not leaving a voice mail.  Wish they would just go away, they jacked my insurance up when I bought a new 2013 car, went to State Farm and am paying less now than I was on my 2006 model.  Was with them 19 years plus, would not budge on the rates.

I have been on the Do Not Call list for years, and it has NEVER helped at all.  The problem is twofold.  There  are two many loopholes in the law, making it very easy for telemarketers to get around.  (e.g. telemarketers sometimes use the same numbers for collecting for charities, or false charities, which exempts them)  

The other problem is a combination of the huge number of these telemarketers and the lack of Enforcement.  Do you really have the time it takes to go to the FCC (or whatever Governmental agency) and lodge a complaint, with followup, for each and every telemarketer that violates the Do Not Call list and calls you?

If I did that, it would be a full time job.

I have never used Allstate for anything, and have moved to different states many times in my life.  Yet I have been getting many of these calls for years now.  So I don't think you will lose them by just moving to another state.

The change in phone number (e.g. when you move) may help temporarily, but they can always get the new number again.  

I suspect the only way to avoid 800 number callers is to get a call blocking device, as phone services like ATT and Verizon won't block 800 numbers (since they use 800 numbers themselves).

Claimed to be Allstate, trying to sell some sort of roadside coverage.  We've had 2 other calls in the past month from obvious scammers claiming to be from Allstate, I have a feeling this is a scam as well.  Don't give them any info.  If you're interested in the service, hang up and call your agent.  There's an email and a number on allstates website to report suspicious phone calls and emails.

i had Allstate roadside assistance, the platinum package, $175 per year.  they cancelled me because I used it three times in one year.  I had them for seven years and had not used them for emergencies before.  I have old cars and needed to feel safer if anything happened.  Now they call me wanting me back.  I DON'T think so.

The scum artists calling with this caller id number identified are AllstateS - not Allstate Insurance. Look at the information from the legitimate Allstate website and you will see the prices are NOT the same as offered by Allstate. These people are misrepresenting themselves as being associated with Allstate and it is fraudulent! Call Allstate Insurance and report calls from this number.

I just started getting this call today. I looked here and learned that it is Allstate. I have Allstate insurance. I used to have the roadside assistance, but canceled it after 1 year when the price jumped up. I never gave them "permission" to call me at home. Just like all the other calls I have reported, I don't answer it hoping they will give up sooner rather than later.
