Received a call from this number on numerous occasions reporting threats of litigation if I did not contact them back. Reporting them to the local authorities.

Possibly this company:
http://www.scambook.com/company/view/27961/Oracle-Financial
May be a spoofed company.
CWG40 2014-06-25 19:50:18 Unknown
Yes it is--total scam. They are pretending to be process servers. No legitimate process server tells you in advance that they are gong to serve you. They just show up.
See: https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection
Report them.

This guy named Jamal called by from Oracle Financial saying he was an arbitrator and going to send an officer to my place of employment and my home and wanted to verify my address. I asked him what it was regarding and he said he couldn't tell me until I verified who he was. I took his # 716-242-5208 and the call also came from a 844-215-0812 which shows up as "unavailable". I am freaking out. Is this a scam?
Tobias 2014-06-25 18:12:01 Unknown
Yes they are spoofing and using a virtual telephone system as well. Trying to track it down, anyone have any luck yet. Gonna sue the pants off them.

These folks are back at it again. John Stratton robocall (I guess John Spencer got fired. Funny how they sound exactly the same.) about possible pending litigation in my county, giving the 48 hour deadline and ending in a ridiculous 'good luck'. These phone calls and others very similar to them, have been going on for about 8 months or so now. Nothing ever comes from it. They're apparently fishing for information. I block the number and have peace for awhile until they start using new ones. Today the number they spoofed on my caller ID was 302-483-7032

Got the same message today from 302-414-8659 and asked me to call 888-259-2437 over a loan I supposedly took out in 2010. I never took out such a loan and therefore began to challenge him. He hang up on me and didn't answer the phone when I tried to call back. It is a scam and I've received so so so so so many of these calls from so so so so many different numbers claiming the same with different amounts. Anyone here ever apply for a loan on loan.com or credit.com? We made the mistake of applying for a car loan in 2008 on this website because we thought that they would pull our credit once and have different lenders offer us good rates without each one pulling our credit individually. Big mistake. I strongly suspect that this is where our information was compromised because we started receiving these calls in 2010.

I'm trying to look into this more. That's very scary if that is where they got my information from! I'm not signed up with anything else online or have any open account that have my social security number so I think it's from credit karma.
Not_the_first_time 2014-06-20 17:14:30 Unknown
I'm on Credit Karma too.
Kat 2014-06-20 16:55:31 Unknown
I just got off the phone with them. So scary that they had the last 4 of my ss# but the did have my town and zip code wrong. Knew it was a scam when he changed the amount of time I had from 48 hours to one hour because he had a meeting and was leaving.
Amy 2014-06-20 16:47:43 Unknown
Is anyone signed up with credit karma that is receiving these calls? I am getting the same message as everyone and was wondering where they could have gotten my information from. The only thing I can think of is maybe they somehow got it from my credit karma account.

They called me from (203)848-6409 and from (302)483-7032.
Said I had an unpaid loan. Wanted over $3000. I've never had a loan in my life.
Upon calling them back, they wouldn't tell me their address.
Amy 2014-06-20 16:44:42 Unknown
I wonder how many people getting these calls are also signed up with credit karma. I was trying to think of a way they could have gotten all of my information and was thinking that maybe somehow they got it from my credit karma account.

I keep receiving the following message "there is POSSIBLE pending litigation against you. Please use this case number code xxxx xxxxxx, when calling back. Call back within 48 hrs or else. good luck" Not only from this 888 259 2437, but they also call me using a local area code and number, but asking me to call the 888 259 2437 within 48 hours. The don't even address me by name, but several months ago they did leave a message addressing my son by name, who has not lived with me for over 10 years.

left a voice mail to call 888-259-2437 with a case number or they would apply lien toward property

I just got off the phone with the US Attorney General's office and the man I spoke to said that they are off shore companies that are doing this (they receive over 1000 complaints a day) and that the US govt can't prosecute as they aren't American companies but that they are simply fishing for info (trying to confirm your info) then they steal your identity. He said do not confirm any info over the phone and to watch our credit very closely. I am signing up for LifeLock today. So maddening!
nan 2014-06-19 01:41:16 Unknown
The call he made to us came out of Georgia.

I am on the DNC list, they still call.

Just got a call saying the same thing from John Stratton...I have 48 hours...they called from 615-246-2956. I like the idea of putting their number for a Craigslist ad...lol
Michelle Ligon 2014-06-17 18:29:19 Unknown
John Stratton from Arbitrary Mediation about a possible litigation. The actual number was 859-908-3306 and the number they told me to call was 888-259-2437

Call and threaten arrest and court when I do not know what debt is for. Asked for everything in writing and they yell they don't have to give us anything... They will see us in court. I hop so... I can file against them!
Mo 2014-06-16 21:25:55 Unknown
Had a month reprieve and they started calling again. Time to make Craigslist ads with their phone numbers to call back. Stupid idiots and fake names they use

I received the same call only from 262-432-0780. Everything identical to the other callers including asking for a manager and got "Steve Nash". Unbelievably rude, and won't send you any info, but will rattle off your Social Security Number without hesitation.
annoyed 2014-06-12 15:19:42 Unknown
same problem, same voice message about a county I have NEVER lived in and same robotic voice of John Stratton.

I just got a frightening message via robocall from these folks giving me a case #...very intimidating language about a debt I know nothing about.
When I called back the first time got a very rude person that didn't even identify herself or her company until I asked. I was then disconnected.
I called back and got an answering machine, which itself seemed odd.

Same issue - it is a SCAM!
I filed a BBB complaint against them not long ago, they were doing same thing under a different name. The police should shut them down.

June 9, 2014 12:50pm EST recorded call from "John Stratton" stating that if I don'tcall back w/i 24hrs there would be "arbitrary mitigation in my residing county against me," but I have erased nearly all of my debts according to credit karma. They said I was to mention the case number 2014-460534 & I was to call: 888-259-2437.

I am getting daily calls to my office number. I tried to speak to someone and was left on hold for 30 min and then hung up on. I've asked several times before when they called from other numbers asking for a co worker to please do not every call this number again and remove this number from the desk line.
