This number called us frequently. I finally answered and they were calling to get in contact with my neighbor about a private message. She had quite a few hospital stays and it is a collection agency collecting on the hospitals' behalf. how embarrassing and rude that they would call me to contact her. I called the company back and told them my opinion and they said by law they can do this. Shame on them for adding to her already difficult situation by humiliating her.

Hey d***hit, first of all, you are not collecting a debt. You are trying to collect on something you bought. Second of all, the debt no longer exists from a credit card company as the bank insures all loans and when one goes bad, they write it off and collect the insurance. Third, the money for the alleged loan they made was created out of thin air by bookkeeping entry and never existed in the first place. Fourth, the money that was paid to the bank was set aside as an asset thereby allowing the crooked banks to lend out an additional 10 times that amount to the unsuspecting public. The banks lost NOTHING and we owe them NOTHING in return.

UR ALL IDIOTS 2011-06-06 21:05:20 Unknown
Funny, collectors have to follow rules and calling all hours of the day is calling your number 3 times a day(Morning, afternoon, evening). It is funny how debtors are actually called scum!!! Scum are the people that don't pay their bills. It is all the dead beat people that have ruined this country for the past 6 years. All you idiots take out loans(mortgages, car loans, and credit cards) you can't pay back!!! Stop doing it. You can't afford it!!!!

Used to get these calls once in two weeks. Now they are coming every 2 days. I never pick up. They dont leave messages.

Computer calling me looking for somebody named Dennis Kane. Says it's a message only for this guy and if you're not him - don't listen. Sadly, my voice mail can't hang up. Computer goes on to say Melissa Hansen is calling from Financial Recovery Service, Inc., some special tax consideration for collecting a debt from this guy. I called the number back today (after this thing left me 3-4 messages over the past week) and got Melissa's voice mail. I kindly asked her to stop her computer from calling a wrong number.
Jay 2011-06-06 21:05:20 Unknown

Right, thats like putting your head in the noose and pulling the cord.
m. 2011-06-06 21:05:20 Unknown
pay your bills and you wouldnt have a problem.. or better yet answer your phone and if it is a wrong number let the other end know, instead of asking why the call is taking place or where the caller is from.. screen much????
net 2011-06-06 21:05:20 Unknown
Here's a good one.... They called, got my voicemail..it was one of those auto voice messages. It said, 'we will now pause for 3 seconds". after the 3 seconds it said 'since we pause and you did not hang up, this verifies that you are (whoever it was they were looking for)'..Yeah, really? because my voicemail can't hang up, that means I'm someone they're looking for??? LOL stupid people!
Are you kidding 2011-06-06 21:05:20 Unknown
It's not the people who can't pay their bills who ruined this country.
Look no further than the greedy lowlife financial sector. They are the ones who ruined your economy. Go vent on them.
Cajungirl43 2011-06-06 21:05:20 Unknown
It is not that we do not want to pay our bills. Things do happen that you fall behind on finances but these people do not want to work with what you have. They insist on calling you at all hours of the day and night. Whether I pay my bills or not, I still have a right not to be harassed by these people. If they refuse to work with what you can pay then who fault is that. You try finding out you have cancer and not able to work anymore and tell if not paying your bills is your fault. Have some consideration because you have no idea why the bill have not been paid or the serious problems some people have dealing with debt collectors.
Bob Brown 2011-06-06 21:05:20 Unknown
>pay your bills and you wouldn't have a problem..
I do pay my bills. You losers are trolling the phone book looking for some other Brown, and bothering hundreds of innocent people in the process.
>or better yet answer your phone
No. As Mr. Justice Walter Matthau said, "The phone's got no constitutional right to be answered." It's my phone, not yours, and I'll answer it when I feel like it. Maybe.
If you ever do get me on the phone, I'm going say those three magic words: "Please hold on." Then I'm going to put the phone down and walk into the village to see whether I meet anyone I know. OK?

i received call and call back they said it was a financial recovery service agency. I just hope there not some crooks trying to get information from people, cuz to verify i gave them my husbands name, birth date month and and birth date day but not year. Since my husbands name and last name match up with the person they were looking for. Also my husbands last fourn only. I hope with that information if there not a debt collector company that cant do anything with it. Anyone know???

Harass me using robo-dialer day and night on cell phone. Will be filing action with local authorities. Contacted both personal attorney. Advised to file complaints with Indiana Attorney General, Minnesota Attorney General and Federal Trade Commission. Had personal attorney delineate documents and I mailed them today with copies to SRS/Financial Recovery. If they persist, I have been advised to pursue a civil suit, which I plan to do since they just called me again while I was posting this.
I have no business with them. The person who had my cell phone number died.

Keep harassing me at work, home, talking about some online account.....
BobBobBob 2010-06-15 20:07:16 Debt Collector
A robotic female voice informed my cell phone that Financial Recovery Services, Inc is required by law to tell me that they are a debt collection company. I probably do owe their client money, but unless they go to court (like Citibank did), they're not likely to get it. You see, I don't need a robot to tell me about the law.
fancypants 2010-04-05 14:24:18 Unknown
if you cant leave a message then i cant call back . and i definitely DO NOT CALL back 800 numbers.
net 2009-06-01 19:23:15 Unknown
I generally will tell these annoying callers that I do not know the person they are calling, and if they don't cease and desist, they will hear from my attorney. That worked with Fannie Mae calling me for someone.
The number that's been calling me lately doesn't leave a message and I refuse to call them back. I don't call unknown numbers and if someone wants me to call them back they better darn well leave a message of who they are and what it's about!
Andrea 2008-05-19 23:57:42 Unknown
They call, leave no message, hang up when my machine kicks in. I called back and she refused to identify themselves. They refused to tell me who they are and why they called because I wouldn`t tell her who she was talking to on my end. I said "I ditto that" and will never talk to anyone who refuses to identify who they are and why they called. Period. This was a first from this number but I doubt the last. As said in this thread, they should look for a real job and not do these calls on Sunday evenings...if ever. A
