I received a call from this number at 5:08 pm. I have stopped answering my cell phone when I don't recognize the telephone and the caller did not leave a voice message.

No matter if I pick up on the first ring or third it is always a hangup. Never a message. Usually call late evening like 8pm. If it is indeed Verizon Wireless (I am a recent ex-customer, having ported to Sprint) I wish they would complete the call! I guess it's a computerized call.

Call comes in typically around 9:00pm; no name in ID. I answer - caller hangs up. I've had about 6 such calls from this number.

Caller claimed to work for Verizon Wireless. Sales call to get new contracts. I told him that I just renewed our contract and the caller hung up. Call received at 9.45pm!
