I had this call every hour since yesterday, it's so annoy

I have this call like every 45 mins and they are so rude. i asked my number t be taken off the list and the guy just hung up on me.

it is from the daily news.
keep telling them that i don't want to receive the newspaper.
about  5 to 6 calls a day

Work at a college and got a call from this number. After 5 seconds of silence, a woman answered, said her name and where she was calling from (don't remember), then said she had the wrong number and hung up. WEIRD!

On state and federal do not call list. Called my home number just now. Dead line.

they keep calling my wifes number and she tryed call them back it happen 10 times in one day and she still getting the when she answers then it saying all curtit busy  sck theses company how do i get rid them they use alot 800 number not just one. how do i find out whos number it is

Well, they called again, perhaps just an hour later. Same thing.

But when I called back this time I got a regular busy signal.

Oh, and when I called the number back I got a fast busy signal.

Yes, just a few minutes ago. This came in on my cell phone. WHen I answered, I could heard quiet background noise, like static, so I know I was connected. Did not hear voices like one would in a call center though.

I answered the phone, "Good afternoon!" and got no response, so I repeated, and still none. So I hung up.

(some autodialers are programmed to hear the word "Hello".)
