I just sent these people my whole savings account, now I feel taken advantage of. I am 68 years old and they threatened to take my house, I was really scared.

They've got at least 4 different numbers.

A lady name Lisa white called me from here. So has anybody really got a court order from this company?

We have been recieving messages from this company"CSI" stating that if we ignore this matter there is NOTHING that can be done. These calls have been going on for 2months and when I finally spoke to someone the man was very rude and disrespectful. When I told he there was no one there by that name he said well thats not his problem and started to yell at me.  I put a complaint in with my attorney general.

I keep getting these messages every week from a jerk saying I ignored a serious matter and there is no way he can help me if I dont call him back.  He read the number off and said "got that", then repeated it again in a very angry voice.  I could tell it is a recording because it repeated itself.  I could not understand the name of the company or person calling because it sounded like he purposely slurred his words in that part.

I have received calls like this in the past. They call my brother and my workplace. They state that they have papers to serve. I always tell them to serve the papers because I'm not giving them any money. That usually pisses them off. Or I tell them that the debt in question has already been taken care of, but thanks for calling. Then I hang up.

calls several times in a threatening tone.  in fact this a-hole is calling an elderly person who he scared the crap out of her where no she does not want to answer her phone.  this lady does not have any bills except for her utilities - no loans, no credit cards, no store credit cards.

Unless some scammer is making a target call, the random calls are made by the scammers computer. Block this number and see if you get another call from another number. Either way, the callers are crooks that have something to hide. Report them.

This whole situation is quite bizarre. If they are scamming, why do they immediately turn people off. That doesn't make any sense. Maybe they just get a kick out of pissing people off, like the old anonymous calls before we had caller ID.

Same as all above.  Losers call my cell in a threatening tone ("nothing I can do...Got that?") I agree with Call Your News Station. The attorney generals can't or won't help. Maybe the news outlets can.

Call your news station and report them....it seems like a scam. If enough people report them someone will investigate. Its NOT a debt collector. Its a SCAM artist trying to get your info.

888-314-7074 number has called numerous timies; sometimes several calls a day. The man says I need to take care of this important matter and press 1. If I do not respond he says I cann't help you.  When I do not respond, he states the number to call back as 888 314 7074 and emphatically says GOT THAT? Some of the calls are identified in the caller ID as C S I.

This is when you slam them with a massive amount of calls. Just when ever/where ever something ask for your phone number enter theirs.

I got the same call from some A-hole named Ryan something-or-other.  There is a great app for helping you deal with morons like this...it's called "CallFilter"...look for it in the android play store...works great!

Ok so hers what happend..... I spoke to an idividual climing there a litigation company, when i asked if there a law firm she told me yes they are. I than informed her that sence there a law firm they should be well aware of ar-670-1(army regulation for proper ware of military uniform) and also they should be aware of f.m.c.s.r 395(fedral regulation of hours of service for truck drivers)i didnot tell her what these are.lol. I then said my friends and i dont apreciat mafioso tacticts and never call us again. She than asked who am i refering to, i told her everone they have ever called... I than asked if her husband was handling her right in the bed n she hung up on me.

I just got a call from this guy.lol. Its funny after reading everyons pots he says the samething to everyone. Well i love breakn the balls of bill collectors, i enjoy talking to them... This guy called the wrong person. On behalf of everyone that posted on im going to have extra fun with him. Ill post back to give u all an update to let everybody know the diolog between us. I just received a call from 719-428-0069 and the girl on the line asked me if I'd be home between the hours of 7am and 5pm so that they could serve me. I said "Serve me for what?" and she said "You're being sued by our client CSI. Will you or will you not be home during those hours?" I said "No, I work. Who is CSI? Why are they suing me?" She said "You can call 1-888-314-7074 to get more details."

I decided to Google "888-314-7074" and came to this page where you all are discussing the oddness related to this number as well. I'm not going to even attempt to call it back and am now thinking that perhaps I should not have told this girl that I'd not be home in the extreme off chance my TV's go missing =)

I'm sure this is some sort of attempt to collect an old debt and they are using 'scare tactics'. I believe that yes, we should all pay our debts for money borrowed or services rendered. However, it is human nature to want to rebel against someone being rude, threatening, manipulative, etc. Sorry, you aren't going to treat me that way and I jump through hoops to hand over money for a debt that I either thought was taken care of or wasn't even aware of and would be happy to take care of had I'd been notified in a nicer manner and presented with a payment plan. (Pardon my run on sentence =) )

can someone tell me how to stop the calls....because this is really annoying.
I recieved a message on my work phone, from some guy leaving his # 888 314-7074, then he sayd " GOT IT" and leaves the # again and says I suggest you call me back! VERY, VERY RUDE!
I called the 888-314-7074 back and a female answered and asked me to verify the last 4 of my SS#. I told her if she was calling to collect a debt, she should already have the information and because I wouldn't give it to her...she got pissed and hung up....I swear to you just as I was typing this...this man just called me back! I told him, that I knew he was scamming, I told I knew he wasn't a legitmate company, because I checked w/BBB I also told him theat I ran his # on the internet and it came up as a scam! He told me I was worthless...and I said so is your momma!  I cussed him out and told him, he wasn't getting a dime!!!  And we went at it...for about a minute and then he finally hung up...but this time when he called me back his # was blocked....I really need to block this#! can I call my phone co and have it blocked??

I got a call from this number concerning my father from a woman named "Jessica" who said they were an investigation company. She left an account number to call back with. Where are you all located? I'm in San Antonio, TX.

Same number as these - Now he's saying his name is Ryan something, I think Brobsan but it was hard to make out? And the rest of the message is the same. Not very bright, this one.

I reported this to my local news station. This is  really threatening and weird. Since I pay all my bills I know I don't have any outstanding bills anywhere and this is not usually how debt collectors operate. If you call them they would tell you what bill you have to pay...the fact the guy won't say his company name makes it sound super fishy. Especially since its near the holidays....this must be some sort of scam.  DON'T GIVE your private information out.
Hopefully the news station will investigate these folks and shut them down.

I received a call from 888.314.7074 and a message was left by a VERY rude guy and, after he repeated his call back number, his 'tag line' was "GOT THAT"?  I called the # back and spoke with him; his name is (allegedly) Jim Murphy.  He told me the company was CSI and it's a litigation company.  He was in charge of my account from about 5 years ago after it was turned over to "DDA".  I have no idea what that is.  He confirmed my address and had my current cell # (which I have no idea where he got those from!).  He said if I didn't "handle this situation right now" he "wouldn't be able to help" me.  He said they were in the process of taking me to court and I would be served via mail at my address.  I asked if he was froman actual litigation company or a company that buys debt and tries to collect.  Legally, he can't say he's from a litigation company so he did said it was a debt company.  He yelled at me and then hung up.  I called him back and asked for the case number he was going to give me.  He yelled at me again so I called him a few choice names of my own and hung up on his sorry a$$.  He blocked his number and tried calling me back 3 times!!!!  He's sneaky, rude, and a total do***e bag.

Very condescending tone and voice, CALL ME  NOW or else Face the Consequences.
