Received multiple phone calls and threats from this company, claiming they are:
United Firm, out of Arizona. That's all the information they could give me. This was after a 'locator' was hired to locate me and give me a special toll-free # taht i could use to make arrangements so he didn't have to 'serve' me with papers. And that I owed them $700+ but they would take $200.00 off (a fee?) if I paid right then and there. Which I refused, but readily agreed to make a pyament plan with them, if they could product a statement, and an address. They said they do not give out their address, and they do not take checks, money orders, or cashiers checks, only debit and credit cards.  The Scam Flag got raised quick! Needless to say, I still have my money, and have yet to see anything come from them in the mail.
517.803.4855 is the number the 'locator' used, but this number was never in service when I called it back. Also, the # from united was 1-888-324-3293, which cannot be found now either in google or bing, at this moment.

This woman said she was from United Firm They called me and my sister trying to get ahold of our mother  say she had charges against her.  she said all she had was a phone number and that she was on her way to give her the papers. if she had the papers and was on the way then why call me and my sister more then 3 time and leave a voice mail on my phone I told her by law she cant call me And I don't want her to call me and I told her by law I can't give her any information then I hung up on her. It is really stupid she ask me what her address was I was not born yesterday if you where on your way then why did you need her address not very smart

just got a call from this number. the nice enough sounding woman started the conversation off with the threat of fraud charges. (her mistake) im a 2 time iraq vet and i dont get bullied especially over the phone. she tried to calm me by saying that because i havent received a notice that the charge would be dropped if i paid right away. the 500 or so dollar balance is a little out of reach seeing how i can barely afford a case of beer. i told her good luck and hung up. they called right back and hung up on me. i would like to say this to everyone because its common sense (please excuse the caps lock) BILL COLLECTORS DONT GET COMISSION THEREFOR THEY DONT CARE IF YOU PAY BECAUSE IT DOESNT EFFECT THEIR PAYCHECK. THEY ALSO COULD PROBABLY CARE LESS IF YOU GET CHARGED WITH A CRIME. so if someone  is trying to collect something from you and they are overly aggressive and/or threaten you. its most likely a scam. if you dont want to handle it the way i did i suggest politely telling them you need to call your bank first, hang up and  google the number.

I got a call from these people and have PAID them $600 for a debt I thought they were collecting for someone else.  I should have googled their number sooner because when I did (888-324-2336) the NY State Atty General popped up and I contacted them.  Someone posted the Atty General number on the site and said to report their call to them and put in a complaint.  They are looking into this for me! how STUPID could I be to pay someone who will not give me a statement or even their address! IDIOT!!!!
