I just got this call from the number for the first time.  Said to call Jason Collins.  They say my son's name with and account number.  Then I called back and the receptionist said that he had no idea what the company was that he was just a receptionist.

I called them back and asked for the name of the company calling this cellphone and JEFF said I was giving him a hard time.  I explained that this is an unsolicited phone call. He refused to give me the company name.  Isn't that against the LAW?

called said that they sent a collection letter. I never recvd one.  I asked them to send a letter and they gave me a hard time. saying that I had the address and that since they did not get the letter back, i was lying.  then I called back and spoke to the office manager.  he said that I should use my tax return to pay off debt.

I keep getting this unavailable ID coming up on my cell phone and a message left with a recording of an account # and to call 888-354-0990 and to dail Michael Sullivan at Ext.249?. This is extremely annoying since i get the call at least once a week and i have no clue who he is or the company is. And i my # was put on a do not contact.

Receive calls from this number dozens of times a day.  If I do not answer my cellphone they call me at work.  They leave a message stating they need to talk to me about a medical issue.

I got a call from a Jeff at this company looking for a Doug Miller two days in a row. I told them there is no Doug Miller that lives here, they have the wrong number.  Jeff asked me who I was and I told him and he then said I own $19.67 in a hospital bill from several years ago.  I told Jeff you call here looking for a Doug Miller and now all of a sudden I have a hospital bill of $19.67, I want that hospital bill to see what was rejected as I have always paid my bills. He said he could not do that as that was a HIPAA violation.  Never received a bill from the hospital for $19.67, this is something he must have made up to try to steal money.  S

I meant to say that "the equipment WAS purchased many years ago", and NOT "the equipment WE purchased many years ago..."

These collection agencies don't give up. They are trying to collect on olds debts that have already been written off by the companies they are trying to collect for. They get to keep a portion of whatever they collect.

These people call constantly, sometimes ten times a day, and harrass our employees. They are calling about an account that belonged to the former business owner, and we have nothing to do with this account. We have explained that to them numerous times. The equipment they are calling about we purchased many years ago by the former owner and is no longer on the premises, and we don't know what happened to the equipment. But they still keep calling and harrassing us. There is a person who identified himself as Chuck Gibbons and another named Tony B. They are extremely rude and persistant, and actually laughed when I said I would report them to the police and consumer affairs for harrassment. Maybe we should all get together and form a class action suit against them! Over the past three weeks I've been getting calls at inopportune times asking me to call 1-88-354-0990 and call Michael Sullivan at extension 249. Through information I got at another site I found the company in question is called Advanced Recovery Systems (http://www.arscollects.com)The number provided on their website matches the one above.

I keep getting a call from an unavailable number. It tells me to call Michael Sullivan at 1-888-354-0990 x249. Using Joes info above I found the company is called Advanced Recovery Systems. The number appears in their contact info on their Website, http://www.arscollects.com/

Left message for me and my husband to call Mrs. Lipsom at the above number extension 246.    She hesitated at the extension number like she had almost forgotten it.   And she called me husband by his middle name which he goes by informally but is not his "legal" name which is on all his business correspondence.    With no company name and no caller id info I don't feel obligated to call but it sure is irritating.    The last time we got calls like this it was from the mormon church.

Call all day, several times a day.  Refuse to stop calling.  Very annoying!

I forgot to mention that when I ask any questions, or that I do not want to be on their calling list since I don't know who they are, they hang up on me.  Which really angers me since they have now woken my baby up, gave me no info and hung up on me.  I want this to STOP.  There are 3 adults in the house and they can't give me a name of who they're calling either. This belongs to the above report.

People from this number call everyday, they never give any information even when we answer.  The message always says to call Michael Sullivan at ext. 249 and give this acct. #, but it always hangs up before an account number is said.  We don't even know what company this is. I'm sick & tired of the harrassement and I'm reporting them to whomever I can.

Called and said it was in my best interest to call as information in a letter was incomplete.  Told not to call but continues to call anyway.

These people keep calling my home at all times with a stupid recording telling me nothing except to call them. Then when i call them right after they call me they are not even there. How stupid can these people be? Pure harassment.

I have asked these people numerous times to quit calling me and they refused! Using my cell phone minutes I am getting fed up with the harassment. I called and asked for the mailing address to the company and they refused to give it to me.
