Just received a call at work - 585-563-2760.  Left a voicemail and told me to call 888-356-8021.  I called both numbers back - both had the same recording.


What is this world coming to?!

I work reception at a Northern Virginia law firm. We got a call on Saturday asking for a call back today if possible, to #888-356-8021. I was suspicious that the guy didn't leave his name or say who he was trying to contact. The number was local for DC, #202-813-1960, but I decided to double check before I called them back. Found this page, so I'm glad I didn't. Trust your gut on these things; legitimate companies provide account numbers, etc.

1-888-356-8021 left message would appreciate a call back, etc.  Some type of old outstanding bill.  
Dynamic Recovery Solutions?  Research has them moving from state to state with tons of complaints.
I would never settle with a group like this -- any money sent would just disappear.

I received a call this morning from 857-254-1298. The message just said he was from Dynamic Recovery Solutions and would very much appreciate a call back today. Never said who he was calling for. Have to say, don't believe we'll be calling them back any time soon seeing as how we don't owe anyone anything.

They called me in TX from # 915-317-1925. Message said to call 888-356-8021.

I too received a few calls.  The message left was to call back by the end of the day by the same person.  Who ever called, used my work number. They called from 267-546-5823.  Stated they were from a collection agency.  Asked me to call back on their toll free number.   I was glad to see others have the same gut feeling as I did about these calls.  We can never let our guard down when it comes to our finances.  

Got a call from this company, Dynamic Recovery Solutions. A pseudo-tough sounding guy, identified himself only as a debt collector, left a message but he didn't leave his name or the person with whom they were trying to contact.  The company used a number which shows up as a local number on the CallerID but this guy gave out 888-356-8021 for the callback number.  I don't answer numbers I don't recognize.

Got a call from a local number 480-305-0838.  I didn't answer nor did they leave a message.  It seems like this scam of a company is using local numbers to try and get people to answer.  They call from all kinds of different local area codes, but never leave me a message.  Here is a tip: don't answer your phone unless you have it saved in your contacts.  Unfortunately this world has come to a point where we have to screen phone calls.  If they were a true legit collection company they would be sending you something in the mail.  They would have your name, number, AND ADDRESS.  Also, if they threat to put you in jail that is also illegal.  It isn't illegal to owe debt.  There are processes that go through the courts and through your employer to get money from people that owe money.

Yet another threatening call from 888-356-8021. Trying to collect for a man that doesn't live here.  Mind you.....this same man's name has been used for court, once a message was left that they would be coming to arrest him.  I told the one man that he has been harrassing us for years about this guy.  He hung up on me and now the calls are starting for collection.  You would think they could at least change the name. LOL
What a bunch of loosers.  As soon as you mention harrassment they click! I am now being amused by their stupidity!

The guy calls and says his name is Rich Aldi [?] . Says he is a debt collector. I called the number 2 weeks ago and requested a statement in writing on company letterhead and a signature--NOT ONE RESPONSE AS OF Today 3-10-14. And I cannot find a Dynamic Recovery Solution in Pittsburgh. The debt they claim has been a big scam witjh me befor. And was 12 years ago and they were sued and lost. Looks like I have to do it again.   Called my landline and the lady who called first said the company name ended in the word "Systems". They cannot even get their name correct.

UPDATE

I reported DRS to the Upstate South Carolina Better Business Bureau. DRS responded to my complaint with a form letter saying there was probably a mistake, the account has been closed and they won't bother me anymore. That's great news, but...

It bothers me  that the BBB gives DRS an 'A' rating simply because they respond to complaints. There were many  complaints just like mine and others here where DRS tried  to intimidate people into paying fraudulent debts. Some people on the BBB site actually accused DRS of fraud, yet according to the BBB , there's no government action currently being taken against the company. WHY NOT????

The BBB site says that  367 complaints against DRS were closed in the last 12 months, 569 in last 3 years.
Yes, the company will back off if confronted. But  the number of complaints has significantly increased, so they're still not deterred. We complainers are off the hook, but there are plenty more fish in the sea!

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau consumerfinance.gov is another place to report questionable business practices. That agency says it will report to the Federal Trade Commission if they believe fraud is involved.

btw.. the ripoffreport website is being reorganized so reports on DRS can't be accessed right now, but they're there!
A few days ago  I counted about 50.

Today I received a letter from Dynamic Recovery Solutions.
The return address is PO Box 25759, Greenville, South Carolina 29616-0759.
The Rip Off Report  website has about 50 complaints about this company from people in various  states, several also  referencing the South Carolina source.

Rec'd the same call and message today.  Never identified himself, or who exactly he was calling for.  Just said to call him back today at Dynamic Recovery Solutions - 888-356-8021.  "A debt collector."  The caller ID number looks local.  I'm in Arkansas.
I feel sorry for the older folks who fall for these tactics.

I'm  in New York State. I received a call from Dynamic Recovery Services at 888 356 8021. They claim I owe $13,000 + debt on a credit card I never owned. I thought it was identity theft, but I contacted the bank that issued the credit card they claimed belonged to me, and it turns out there isn't even a card issued to anyone with my name in NY state. I don't know where DRS got my personal info - including my unlisted home phone! - but this is definitely a scam.
The two people I spoke with at DRS  were VERY aggressive and belligerent. I've reported this to the BBB in Dallas and the Federal Trade Commission. The Rip Off Alert website has a report on DRS. Be aware that there are two companies of that name in Texas, and one appears to be legit.

Got a call at work on a local line (I'm in Florida) asking me to call 888-356-8277.  Woman with a Southern accent.  She didnt leave her name or the name of the person she was trying to get ahold of.  Only said it was in reference to a debt. Said she looked forward to hearing from me.  Suffice it to say she's going to be disappointed.

received a call on a answering machine ( yes, they still exist ) from some dude from dynamic recovery specialist. Said he was a debt collector and that it was very important that the number he gave (888 356-8021) was called as soon as we heard the message. The little alarm bells in my gut said to check this out. I suppose I'll be posting this on FB as well what all my peeps know about this bs!

A message was left by a guy talking so fast I didn't get his name but he said he was with Dynamic Recovery Solutions.  I looked up Dynamic Recovery Solutions online and found a website but it had a different number (855-244-3357).  I called both from an unlisted phone number.  Both identified themselves through an automated system as Dynamic Recovery Solutions but both had very different answering systems.  The 855 number identified itself and said the call may be recorded, etc... and went on to transfer to person.  I hung up at that time.  The 888 number was automated and said to hold while it looked up the account but since I was calling from an unlisted number it didn't find anything and started to transfer me and I hung up.  I would think if it was the real Dynamic Recovery Solutions, it would have the same answering system.

I also got the same message that everyone else is getting about this company dynamic  recovery. I live in Arizona not sure where everybody else is from.  I knew this call was not right that is why I am leaving this message for other to be aware of this call. The number they called was 480-305-0838 but the return call was a 888-356-8021.

Got a voice mail to return his call ASAP 888-356-8021 , Dynamic Recovery Solution about resolution of my debt.  I never own any credit card.  Always purchased in cash.  So how can I owe an unpaid debt???   This is a SCAM. Hope the get caught.  

Received a message today, much like the others mentioned here, calling from a supposed "Dynamic Recovery Solutions", left no reference number or name of who was calling or who they were calling for. Called from 443-977-6382 but asked in the message to call back "the toll free number 888-356-8021". I'm with others here, pretty sure it's a scam. No reason for them to be calling and no specifics.

According to the State of Georgia this firm (Dyn Recovery Services) was disloved 9/15/2010 (a former collection agency).  It looks like they have set up in a nearby state (NC) .  A scam. Be careful

These people call me 3-4 times a day.  Leave a voice mail with the same "angry" message as stated by many.  However, they call me from what looks like a local number.  Local area code and different number EVERY time.  How in the heck are they managing this and how are they managing to get away with it?  Sick of it because I can't even block the number since I never know what the number will be!!!!!!

Received a call last week from Dynamic Recovery...Didn't call them back...Received a call today, caller ID said 480-305-0715 and rudely said on the answering machine to call their toll free number 1-888-356-8021 to settle this situation by the end of the day...Looks like a scam to me...Can't we nail these guys?

This one came from (253) 341-4854 and said to call 888-356-8021 by the end of the day and said he would appreciate my cooperation and sounded irritated...just like the other listings here...but no company name and no name of person calling.

Agree with the above info...must be a new number. priviously the 727-223-6349 they just called me and left a message from debt recovery solution...would appriciate a call back today... no name for the intended person or acct / ref #...umm yah try again sucker Im debt free.....new number they are using is 888-356-8021 but the call came in on my cell from 615-864-9526. So sick of these people maybe its time to set them up.

I just got a call from the number but I don't have any debt. looked here and am figuring it is a fraud.

clearly from the looks of it, its a new number they are using since this started in 2014.  got the same call today from 727-223-6349.  mentioned they were a debt collector and no mention of who they were calling for or what they wanted.  

Hubby got a call from 972-954-1015 left message to call back at 888-356-8021, no account number.

Just received a call from this number, the guy stated he's from Dynamic Recovery Solutions and would appreciate a call back today.  Call came into my cell phone, Not comfortable with engaging in a conversation with this outfit.  Did not call back.

They call me every day, the # that shows up is 501-954-6264 and he left a message saying I appreciate your cooperation, call me back by the end of the day...YA RIGHT!!! I will get right on that.....
