I gat a mail from xfinity for the same offer but the phone number for calling back is 855-874-2190

I got a call from the same number with the same offer of adding 2 premium channels for $2, but this is quite weird. I asked could I call back, she said they could only schedule a callback for me. I declined because it is strange, and when I called this number back it was disc. Not sure, but sounds weird.

Same as listed above offerring 2 premium movie channels for $2 per month for 24 months, and a $75 termination fee if service cancelled in that timeframe.......female caller that had access to my account info (i.e. knew my current package including that I had Starz, knew my personal cell that is only listed on the Comcast account, etc.), and "transferred" me to a 3rd party verification system (yes/no answers only) from which I was supposed to get a confirmation number...........got to the end, no confirmation number, and no channels.

I called Comcast today intending to cancel since it hadn't been implemented, and they said they have no such promotion and that nothing was noted on my account.

The whole thing is very strange since they didn't get any personal information directly from me, and I see no reason why they would have wasted their/my time, including the supposed 3rd party verificaiton........seems like a waste of time for all involved with no data mining involved (that I could tell).

Did they do anything to your credit? Should you do any precaution to prevent any damage to your credit?

Someone called said she was from Comcast, offered me premium channels for $2. After confirming my information, which they had without me giving it, ask to give a authorization.  No movie channels and number is disconnected

I got a call from thus number, the person said she was calling from comcast wanted to offer me $2 a month on two movie channels. I went thru the processing was suppose to get a confirmation number but then the phone got disconnected and I tried to call the number back but got a message saying phone number is no longer in service.

I got a call from Comcast saying they wanted to give me a loyal customer deal. Refused and called back 1/2 hour layer and Verizon message said number no longer in service.  WTF

Called me and no message left. Called the number back and it said the number or code I dialed was incorrect. I used auto redial so no chance I got it wrong.
