Vague message left about small business loans. No company name given and instructions to call back for loan qualification. Sounds like a total scam

Reported Derrik and Small Business Loan to FTC, today

Total scam. I don't own a business or have ever talked to a Derrick. This recording calls my private cell phone every few months with the same b***s*** message:
Yeah, it's Derrick with small business loans. I just wanted to follow up and let you know that we study pre-approved for short term business loan or one of the nation's leading provider of the small business capital. We're currently lending more traditional banks or not we been a business for 17 years and have a plus. Better Business Bureau waiting to find out the loan amount that you qualify for and the payment options, please gimme a call at (888) 364-6330 again to find out the loan amount that you qualify for and the payment terms. Please give me a call at (888) 364-6330. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.

BUSINESS LOAN SCAM! Beware. Claims I have been approved for a loan I never applied for. Claims they are BBB accredited. I did my research out of curiosity and this is a FRAUD! They call from this call center 702-444-4939 and leave 888-364-6330 as a call back number. SCAM SCAM SCAM!

I let the BBB know this company is falsely using their name.  BBB records show they are unacredited, and in fact have multiple complaints.

The government is closed, Derek, I need lots of money. Please send check right away. B.H.O.

I work at Columbia St. Mary's Cancer Center I have been receiving recorded messages from this number. I called back to have our number removed and got the voicemail of a Wilson Ray, who never returns my call and obviously did not remove our clinic.  We deal with very sick people on a daily basis it is a huge hassel to have to deal with these unimportant and annoying calls

We just received a call from "Derek", too, about our business being approved for a small business loan.  I returned the call and left a msg on a vm where the voice sounded surprisingly like Derek's but with a different name.  My message merely stated that if they're going to be scamming companies, perhaps they might want to remove CALLING LAWYERS.  Dummies!

funding solicitation call; automated removal may or may not work - apparently it can take up to 90 days.  dial through until you get a person.  keith hung up on me, but a nice lady was willing to help with my removal request and even spent time explaining everything to me.  good luck.

Unfortunately this website has no affiliation with the entity that called you.  It is just a forum where people who have received unknown calls try to determine who called and the purpose of the call.  By placing your phone number here for the whole world to see, you have likely caused it to be added to a whole lot of scammers and telemarketers call lists.

We are a large, non-profit educational center (Exploratorium is a museum and science education center, and we work with artists and makers to help develop exhibits and cirriculum for schools).

We are not a small business, and we are not interested in your offer of a small business loan.
Please do not call us and leave sales offers on our phone lines.

Message left today was left on our Global Studios office line -[removed].  Please remove us immediately from your call list.
