Got the same call from a "private" caller, middle eastern woman at 7:50 am.  Stated tax fraud and we should call back immediately.  The IRS doesn't make calls on an 888 number and certainly wouldn't be " private".  SCAM!!!!

Tax fraud too.  The south asian sounding man said his name was John Smith. (You think they could be a little more original)

I got the same message on my machine.  Difficult to understand Middle-Eastern accent.  Said that the IRS had a pending lawsuit against me and that I or my legal representative should call back immediately and ask for the office of Sean Peterson.  My Caller ID said "unknown number".  The IRS sends letters.  They do not have my phone number - it is not on my tax forms anywhere.  And they would not have an unidentified number on caller ID.

I received a call from the "IRS" regarding fraud.  I was supposed to respond within seconds of recieving the message.  The caller was a forreign woman I could hardly understand.  I did call back and the line had a busy signal.  There wasn't any message machine, just a busy signal.  This scam was not well done.

Same pitch for tax fraud. This accented woman doesn't even say she is calling.
Maybe our dead pet hamster was filing fraudulent tax returns?

A women in a middle eastern accent left a message on my voicemail threatening me about an "IRS fraud" . She said if I didn't call back she would contact the local authorities. SCAM!
