Keeps calling me and saying there are two lawsuits against me for bogus companies I've never heard about and the threatned both me and my daughter.  They demand a payment of 100.00 or they will have me arrested.......who are they and how can I stop them from calling?

Received call for someone that does not live here.  They say its a personal matter.

Lady calls asking for my husband. She wants me to verify info. I advised I do not know who she is & why would I verify his info without his consent. She then gives her name Christina Magnewelli. I ask what company since they have to disclose that, She said  Nelson & Associates. She refused to give me any more info.

I don't owe anyone anything. So I do know and don't care why they are calling me.

This number called my husband on my cell phone 888-381-7802 @ 3:08pm on 5-31-2013. only to tell me that this is a personal business matter. very rude. this person was completely rude. would not tell what it was in reference to... wanted only to speak to my husband, and my husband would have to have to give them a release in order them to be able to tell me (wife) what the matter was about. really now. and the call was being recorded. my cell phone number is on the do not call list. and has been for some time now. I do not appreciate this person calling my cell phone... national credit collection. when I called back.. to see who is calling from the number. this number has been placed on block on my cell phone...

Someone named "Katie Parker" called my cellphone asking for "Serina" or "Sara," and asked if I knew how to get hold of this person.

I told the person I didn't know who or what this was, and bade them goodbye. The number has been blocked.

Need to stop the calls

They call aleast twice a day on the hr. Never leave msg.

I have complained REPEATEDLY to the FTC via their online website but after submitting a lengthy complaint all I got was a disclaimer from the FTC that said: "The FTC does not resolve individual consumer complaints."

So now what I do is call these companies back and agree to everything they tell me and agree to purchase their product. I keep them on the phone for as long as possible, ask lots of questions and when it comes time to pay I give them a phony credit card number which frustrates the hell out of them when I tell them it is real.

Other time I tell them I work for the state attorney general's office and if they call me again they will be receiving a visit from my office.

The FTC is totally worthless. If I robbed a bank for ONE PENNY (unarmed) I would never see the light of day again. These people are free to rip off millions and nothing happens to them.

I got a call from this number but didn't pick up. No message was left, so I called back. The guy was able to pull up my info from his caller ID. The name he asked for is a former boss of mine who I was an accountant for years ago. I'm not at all surprised the guy has collectors calling for him, and he did have a Capital One card when I worked for him, but the person on the phone did not give me any info on what the call was about. He was very professional with me and said he would remove my number.

Said their name was Nelson Watson & Associates. I told them I am not the person they are calling about. They won't stop calling so annoying not to mention unprofessional. They need to STOP!

THEY ARE CALLING ME AT WORK, IT IS A DEBT COLLECTOR FROM CAPITAL ONE AS THEY MENTIONED THAT I HAD MADE A PAYMENT AT THE FIRST OF THE MONTH AND KNEW THE AMOUNT.  

I HAVE TOLD THEM TO SEND ME A LETTER BUT THEY AGAIN CALLED ME AT WORK A FEW DAYS LATER.  

SOMEHOW, THEY GOT MY BOYFRIENDS NUMBER AND ASKED HIM IF HE KNEW ME, HOW LONG, WERE WE MARRIED AND HOW LONG HAD HE HAD HIS CELL PHONE NUMBER.  HE GOT MAD WITH THEM AND HUNG UP.  A FEW MINUTES LATER, THEY CALLED ME A WORK AGAIN.

I AM PAYING MY PAYMENTS WITH CAPITAL ONE AND WILL NOT DEAL WITH THEM.  HOWEVER, HOW CAN I STOP THEM FROM CALLING MY FRIENDS, WORK, ETC.  HELP.

every day about 7pm not only do i get a call from this number but my fiance and her oldest son also get a call with in mins of each other fro mthe same phone number ive answered it a few times they ask to confirm private information for a lawsuit etc etc blah blah when u ask for a supervisor or an address so that my lawyer can send them information about going to court for harrassment the calls stop for several days then pick up with a different number all the "same people" i assume cause they ask the same questions etc

Apparently he owes Capital One money. I don't. Just told them to quit calling my cell phone for the second time.

These 2 numbers keep calling my work phone randomly! It's so annoying! I have no clue how they got my work number either....So weird! I work for the government and do not give out my work number at all.

I keep getting calls from this number.  I don't ever answer.  They never leave a message.  Wish they would stop calling!

Got these phone calls started today. I've recently been checking out CL, but also have some capital one stuff going on. This was a female, like all the others have been for y'all except for the one person that got a male person on the phone. They asked for my name. I told them that I wanted to know what they did. If they were debt collectors or a law firm. They just gave me a short answer of 'they work on personal things that they can't divulge.' They wouldn't tell me anything at all about them. I told them I wouldn't give them my name unless they told me what they did.

Just ignore them, even better, if they call you on your cell, dont' answer, just type in "ignore" as the contact, so next time you can ignore them!

These people are bottom feeders. The names they use are all fake. If someone is serious about filing a lawsuit, let them do it. The scumbags will have to show up in court. Court costs less than $100 so make the effort to make them work.

You don't have to answer an 800 call. You have no idea who its from, and anyone can use an 800 number to scam you.

Consider all 800 level numbers as a scam. And, Nelson Watson Co are not lawyers. They are head-set fast-food phone jockeys out to make a buck on unsuspecting people!

Got a call today from 8883817802...I let it go to voice mail, but they didn't leave a message.

These guys are bottom feeders. These are automated calls, just ignore them, do not answer. Never discuss financial info over the phone. Wait till they send you a letter, or better yet, let them take you to court so they can explain to the judge how they have harrassed you!

Got my first call from this number just a few hours ago on 12/31/11 at about 8:30 am.  When I answered the phone, no one spoke.  I held down the * key for about 10 seconds.  When I released it, the line was dead.

Call me at work, home, etc incessantly. I DO owe money to CapitalOne, but I have been making payments and it's reflected on my statement. CapitalOne says they did not transfer the account to anyone, so how did Nelson Watson get this information?? From what I read above, I believe they are SCAMMERS. Do not deal with them, report them to the BBB. Deal with creditors directly.

Got voicemail woman said they were looking for somebody with a last name same as my first name, but our name is clearly on the voice recording. Never heard of the person. She said to call back right away. If this becomes repetitive I will report them. (Dreading the thought of the repetition.) Called ID just said Toll-free call. We're on the Do Not Call list, too, and have no debt.
