This company has been calling me for over a year, they have the wrong number and I have ask the corporate office to remove me from their list 5 times. They have told me they are removing me from the list but the next month they call again. I have received over thirty calls from these idiots. When I try to return the call they will not answer. They are trying to reach someone who received emergency room treatment in Gastonia, NC,

Received a call asking for someone by name. Message stated "If you are (that name) then please call. If you are not (that name) please give us a call so we can update our records accordingly."  I have caller ID, the name of caller showed as Precision Heating with a area code of 713.

They call me too, and ask for my little sister ( 13 years old ) and ask to verify the last 4 digits of the SS number. I ask them what they wanted and they bring up some claim of a $5000 medical bill that my family has no idea about. This looks like a scam and they won't stop calling.

Calls every weekend several times on Saturday and Sunday.  Anyone know who this is?

Called looking for someone with the same name as my husband. When I asked who they were he was unwilling to tell me. He said I had to verify the last 4 of my husband's social and his address before I was allowed to have any more information! Really? You called ME idiot...that's not how this works.

The last 4 of the social and the address he read me are wrong (I told him only that those did not belong to my husband and nothing more). He said oh, we have the wrong person...we'll remove from our list.

We have been getting A LOT of these calls lately from different numbers...people always looking for someone who doesn't exist. So, I seriously doubt these calls will go away. I'm sure they'll just morph in to something else.

This place called by fathers business and threatened me with a civil suit.  My brother answered the phone.  I do not know how this man got my fathers business number.  He left a message to call Mr Martin at 951-737-4800 about a civil law suit to be filed against me.  I have no idea who this is or what they are up to. Any input on this could help unsuspecting people.

I received a call last Thur. from CCS & Associates (I think is what they said) They left a message stating they needed to speak to me concerning my property. I quickly called back (951-737-4800) and was screamed at by a man named David Murdoch. He stated that I had an outstanding debt and would be taken to court if I did not pay right then. He said I would be arrested at my place of employment on Wed. if I did not pay on the spot. i told him this was not my debt and he said he would "turn it over to law enforcement". Anyone else had to deal with this bunch.

I called and spoke with their rep.  They wanted the last 4 digits of my SS# to confirm if it was the same person that they are trying to colect debt.  I asked them to give me the last 4 digits that they had and I would tell then if it matches.  She could not believe that I would not give the last 4 digits out.  She then wanted my address to confirm the account.  I told her to give me the address and I would tell her if it was mine.  She terminated the call saying since she could not confirm information then there was no need to do more.  We have no outstanding debt so I know it is not for me!

I got a message on my voice mail .  It said only listen to this phone call if you are (my name).  If you are (my name) than you must call back 888 397 2921. We are a collection agency, hired to collect a debt.  I called the number and there was no answer.  I am a little nervous about this.

From caller ID these people call 15 min apart but do not leave a message.  Written communication indicates this is Van Ru Credit Corporation 1350 E Touhy Ave Suite 100E Des Plains IL  60018-3307  Online indicates fax to be 513-573-2962.  Written document claims to be a collection agency.  Online information indicates they have a history of violating consumer protection acts.  Company is owned by an attorney.   Will try to answer next time they call and record as well as make a complaint about frequent calls few minutes apart per caller id.

I got a call from ccs&associtesllc from 951-737-4800 saying I was going to be served. I told him to get lost. He called me a hillbilly. Didn't go well after that.

Van Ru Collections  are tied to Wells Fargo Home Equity or Mortgage if you live in a state that is non-recourse where you have never refinanced your loans (because some people have a first & a second equity line used to purchase) then they are acting illegally and you need to contact an attorney to send a cease and desist to the agency/lender you are no longer liable for that debt. And if it's been 4 years since you lost your house or short saled etc,  and they try to collect after four years (at least in CA check your states laws) then they also can no longer come after you.

These folks are a credit agency that hire minimum wage laborers who are not very professional or well-trained.  They were calling me for an individual who hadn't had my phone number in over eight years.

Since I sent them a certified letter telling them not to call me, and they called anyway, I will be suing them for FDCPA violations.  Additionally, since they called my cell phone, I also get to sue them for TCPA violations as well.

Yay!  $3,000 for me!

1st time these sleeze bags called me I explained I was working with HOPENOW and was hoping to be able to make arrangements with the bank soon. The man on the phone said he was with Wells Fargo and that HOPENOW's recommendations meant nothing. That ultimately it was the banks decision so I could just work with him. Mind you I thought I was talking to the bank, not a collection agency. I insisted on waiting on hearing from HOPENOW. It took a few days and checking my caller ID before I realized that I was not talking to the bank. What a sleezebag. He had no power to make arrangments with my loan but was playing it up like if I made a payment that day his recommendation would be to work with me. Incidentally I have nothing but positive experiences and understanding from Wells Fargo themselves. But this Van Ru comp will lie to your face, threaten, insult... you name it. They are scum.

This is a collections agency: Van Rue Credit I believe. They did get my call however they never leave a message because they don't wait long enough to get the answering machine. I have a mortgage with WF that they are collecting.

I've been getting calls from this number for the last 3 hours at least, pretty much every 30 minutes. no message. calling on my cell phone.

Actually they cant call after 9 pm or before 8am under US federal law. Report them to the FTC, FCC, and your state's AG Office. When someone here finds out who they are you can also sue them. Fight back!!!

Calls at 11 PM and I am in bed! won't leave a message or hangs up when i answer! It is upsetting me when they get me in bed. I thought they couldn't call past 10 pm?
