Received another voicemail from these scumbags "Omni Credit" looking for whoever had my cell# previously requesting call back asap re a supposed debt owed.

This number has called my cell phone several times since Feb. 10, 2014. The first time I answered because I was expecting a return call from an insurance company. When it wasn't the insurance company, I looked it up. I don't have credit card debt at all, and my only on-going debt is a mortgage with payment with an automatic withdrawal. Sounds like fishing or a scam operation to me.

Same here. I have 100% good credit and those guys called my father and was asking for me. When I called the number, it just had a busy tone. It's a scam.

What you need to do is keep any messages left on your answering machine etc, record any calls from them. Keep a notebook also with details. Send them a cease & desist letter via registered or certified mail. Follow the steps in what you need to know. Threatening calls are illegal and break the FDCPA laws.

Just received 2 calls & message's from these &%&+++ on my cell phone, threatening messages for previous owner of my number...

You are absolutely correct.  Debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter.  Some real low-life bottom feeding maggots are using this as their newest tactic to try and get money out of people.  More often than not the people they are calling don't even own a debt at all

Received call & voice mail (recorded message) on my CELL# from these scammers saying "they are going to arrest me" if I don't pay my debt.... they did not leave a call back number.

Phone will only ring one time, sometimes 1 1/2 rings, other times 5 rings, but then they hang up when answered.  Calling several times a day.  I am writing this for my parents, as it is their phone that is being called and they don't have debt!

This number has called me over 10 times and when I answer they hang up.

For 8 years, I have gotten calls from this credit alliance, asking for someone who is not me.  I ask to be removed, and they say that they are doing it.  And then I get called again.  It was happening a lot 5 years ago.  Now it just started happening again, and tends to be 2-3 times a month. Obviously someone "made up" my phone number at some point when he had to put a phone number down somewhere, but these people do not act honorably in stopping their harrassment.

Omni credit keeps calling 6-8 in a day sometimes in an just a couple hours.

They called me 8 times today, 3 times yesterday.  No message was left.

It is a recording and they want to choose a number on the keypad to listen to another message; when I do so, they hang up on me.

Got a call from that number just now, did not recognize it so I googled the number and found this page before the phone stopped ringing.  It went to VM and it a partial recorded message was left on it.

They keep calling my number, not knowing who they are speaking to, but making threats about a case file in court with my name and social and if I don't return their call, the cops will pick me up and take me to court. They need to make sure they know who they are speaking with, before making such threats.

This number calls my home at all hours in the night.  There is no one to respond to when answered or no one answers when I call the number

Your right they are very rude, I don't owe anybody anything.  How they got my number I don't know.

Omni Credit Alliance Network, they seem to act like "investigators" and throw flashy names like "agent", when you ask if they:  "Are you the police or do you work for law enforcement?"  They get scared and hang-up.  FRAUDSTERS.

Omni Financial Solutions or debt collection services.  The are rude and are breaking the law.  They keep asking for a person that doesn't live with me.  Rude!
