If you call a toll free number from a pay phone it cost them about $0.30 for each call.  If everybody would call the toll free number from a pay phone several times a day their cost of business would increase - perhaps enough that they would go out of business  When calling the toll free number you just have to make sure the call connects.  You don't have to have a conversation.  Once the call connects, even if it’s just for a second, they get charged the $0.30

Caller was very rude and insisted was given my home phone and home address a month ago.

said they had bought an old verizon account of my husbands.

1. My husband has never had a cell phone in his name its in mine.

2. we have only had Verizon in our area of the country for less than a year
  starting when they bought out Alltel.

They called my house today looking for ______, CID actually said "unknown caller." The male caller ackowledged that he was calling from MCM trying to get me to make payment arrangements for______on an old credit card account.I told him that I would relay the message to _____; then I asked for a return call back number, and he reluctantly gave me this
toll-free number 1-888-403-0022 with his name and extension number.

It's time to look-up their address, AND send a Cease Call Letter and a VOD Letter !

For the past 2-weeks I've been receiving 2-3 calls per day from these rude MORONS trying to contact my ex-father in-law! My cell phone ID show's Call/unknown. When the calls first began these rude idiots would hang up when ask to identify themselves or why they would calling. Finally I got a Indian speaking jerk that give #1-800-403-0022 ext 3224. I have repeatedly given them the needed info AND ask that they stop calling me....Do they listen...NO!! What does a person have to do to stop this company's harassment?
