Just got a call from this number. I said my company name and may I help you and the guy said "oh I'm sorry I just looked at my notes and I'm not supposed to call back yet" and hung up.

got a call guy identified himself as Rick Cavileer - litereally wouldn't let me off the phone when I didn't want to buy what he was selling. finally he just hung up in mid-sentence.

Just received one of those calls too. The man was a fast talker - like a used car saleman. I do my job and screen the incoming calls. I know it's a BS call, by what the caller ID shows. But I still ask who it is to 'announce' the call. Once I put them on hold - they hang up. OR they will not leave a message. What do they gain? Why even bother calling in the first place. I would like to know who's paying for their phone bill and if they make any profit.

Calling in regards to meeting w/ them in person (never happened). Wanted to get some investment information from me and to help with my investments. Referenced a pharmaceutical company with an approved product and how well the stock would do in the next few months. Blabber....

It's some investment/brokerage firm who calls and wants to speak with the owner of the company. They will be very vague on what the call is regarding and will lie in order to get put through to the owner. They will say the owner is familiar with them and is expecting the call. When you ask for a call back so the owner can call them back since he is "expecting" the call but is unavailable they tell you "they don't have time for that". If you ever needed more proof of a bs/junk call...this is it.
