These people call trying to reach my daughter about a school loan. Her husband is in the military and they live in another country. The Dept of Education took back the loan from this collection agency and my daughter makes payment direct to DOE; however, this agency keeps calling. They change their business name periodically to cover up their tracks. Last known name was DCS and now it is PRI. Paul Hatcher (probably an alias) is the one who calls here. He said my daughter has been communicating with him (not true) and he needs to get some information to her. If he had been communicating with her, then why doesn't he have her current contact information?

PRI...they called me, looking for my daughter, who is trying to find a job. He acted like he was an employment company and said she put me down as a "referral". Then when I called him back, he wouldn't tell me what he was calling her for, but just asked alot of questions, which I didn't answer. Now I've got their # blocked on my phone. I'm not throwing my child under the bus!

These people are criminal. They have been calling me on imaginary debts. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and called the police on them. The police are still investigating but believe the company is bogus.

WHO IS PRI
| TH 2011-06-06 21:05:33 Unknown |
PRI is a collection agency
They hound people for debts, even time barred debts over 20 years old. If they are hounding you file a complaint with your state Attorney's General Comsumer Protection Division and also the FTC.

The people at PRI keep calling my house insisting on speaking with someone who doesn't exist in my household.
They are rude and I plan on filing a complaint.

This number keeps calling on my home and cellphone. Who is this? I am unable to track this call. If it is a collection agency, I have not defaulted on any bills.
| Roberta 2011-06-06 21:05:33 Unknown |
I have been away for several weeks and when I returned there were numerous messages as well as hangups from this number. When I finally was here to answer the person on the other end kept wanting to know if "this was Roberta"? I continually asked who he was to no avail. I finally said "no" and he hung up. I called the the number on my caller id and they answered "PRI". When I inquired as to who they were and why they kept calling they did not respond and then just hung up.

They called my cell phone asking for someone named Angela. I asked him not to call it anymore..he got smart and hung up. I called him back and told him to quit being smart. He told me he could be smart if he wanted to and if he wanted he could come kill me.

A woman called from this number and immediately said "This call is being recorded. Where is Terrence?" Instead of telling her I didn't know any Terrence, I asked why she was recording a conversation with me. This really set her off with some of the rudest talk I have ever heard. I called the number back and got a man who was equally rude. He would not tell me what "PRI" (the caption on my phone) is or where they are located.

Rude is understatement! These people set the bar for nasty. I have been harassed by them for a person who I think gave a false phone number. I've had my business Number for 10 years and they just started calling last year. I am tired of being interrupted while I work. I am now reporting them, do the same!
P.S. The name of the guy I spoke to was Monty Davis

Got a call just now from them, at 2:57 a.m. They call 5 and 6 times a day, every day, for the past 6 months. Every time they call my cell phone, it costs me money. The thing is, they have a wrong number and ask for someone I've never heard of. These people need to have their website hacked into. They need to be stopped. When I call, I can never get anyone on the phone but when I do, I'm going to threaten them with a harrassment law suit. These fcking maggots should all die of AIDS. Please somebody, hack their site. Thanks.

If they call you again at work do your best to record the phone call and the call a fair credit attorney in your general area who can help you. By law, they have to stop calling you at work if you ask them to. Else you can sue them.

They are very rude and unprofessional. . About 5 months ago I called someone about my account, twice trying to make arrangments to pay my debt, but they were very rude and wanted my bank information and didn't want what I as offering, then I called a 3rd time to complain about them, and that person was just as rude as well. So I left it alone, and a few days ago a lady call threatening to take me to court.

This number called me at work--so humiliating. I looked up my rights and when they called back I said: "This is my official request for you to stop calling me at work. If you would like to contact me you may do so by written letter. Do not call this number again." She got quite huffy and hung up the phone. I haven't heard back from them since. If you take the 2 minutes to wait and say this, they will stop calling you.

Received a call on my work phone saying "Please hold for the next available representative we will be with you shortly" A woman came on the line and said "Hi" I replied, "Hi, who are you" and she hung up.

Here's how to stop them:
Inform them the next time they call you will be filing a lawsuit against them for TCPA and FDCPA violations if the calls continue:
Under the TCPA, a consumer has a right to file a lawsuit and recover $500 for each call that violates the TCPA. The TCPA can also be used in conjunction with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act in some situations.
Generally, the TCPA does not apply to debt collectors making collection calls to debtors. However, if you are subjected to calls from a debt collector and you are not the debtor, you may file a lawsuit against the debt collector under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the TCPA.
This right was recently recognized by Judge Legrome D. Davis in a case called Watson v. NCO Group, Inc. NCO Group is a debt collector that uses automated prerecorded collection calls. In this case, Mr. Watson alleged he was getting hundreds of calls from NCO Group after he got a new phone number. Mr. Watson claimed he owed no debt to NCO Group, Inc. Mr. Watson filed suit under both the FDCPA and TCPA.
David Israel, defense lawyer for NCO, argued that the TCPA should not apply to debt collectors. Judge Davis rejected the argument made by David Israel. The judge ruled that Mr. Watson had a right to sue NCO Group Inc under the TCPA for $500 for each call. Judge Davis wrote;
[The] Court is convinced that a non-debtor's rights are in fact violated when he is subjected to repeated annoying and abusive debt collection calls that he remains powerless to stop.
Judge Davis' ruling was based upon his interpretation that collection calls to non-debtors violate the privacy rights provided by the TCPA.
So what can you do if you receive "wrong number" calls from debt collectors?
1. Sign up for the Do-Not-Call registry.
2. Save the calls captured by your voice mail or answering machine.
3. Contact a consumer lawyer.

No relationship to who this company keeps asking for. They continue calling several times a day. I told them we do not know the person they are asking about. I told them to delete my number from their calling list. However they keep harrasing us several times a day.
